teh freerolls are great if thats what you are after. To much money is given away to freerolls each week with taht site that could be used to beef up some GP's . $20K a week add the $50K a month which anyone can get into just for playing at Carbon. I agree with everything you said there Nicole except the freeroll stuff. I still think that room could be great. But having to wait forever for a sng to start if it ever does start or gaining entry to a bunch of freerolls for what. Do something besides the freerolls.

Than there is lack of communication by the rooms...

I have yet to ever recieve a newsletter make that any form of communication unless initiated by myself. I just think there are soo many other things that can be done

The trouble is now that some sites on the Merge network offer rakeback so no decent player is going play without rakeback. It is very easy for players to move from one site on Merge to another and they can even keep the same username if they contact support.

Merge only started allowing rakeback recently up until than no site pn the network was to offer rakeback or even a similar promotion that could be considered rakeback...I doubt any of this has to do with that...however when they opened thier doors to other rooms some (not all) affiliates thought bouncing players is the best thing to do when really you should be looking at getting new players not moving them around from one room to the next on the same damn network. I do think there are tracking issues, I also think there are other things but for the most part how many people here play or sign up because they are offered a freeroll...I am guessing not many.

When I went after freerolls I didnt deposit....what for and when I did it sure as hell didnt last long. Once a freeroll gets old well I think it can be different, I think you would be looking at a different player than. The $50K game they offer I was interested the first month I signed up...made my required points in a week *way to easy to meet* and couldnt believe the amount of people...

Why not take that extra what almost $150K a month and do a really kick ass promo or GP?

Again, we need to find a way to create the PERFECT SITE and AFFILIATE PROGRAM.

If we could take the graphics/software interface of Full Tilt and add the super promos and bonuses of Sun Poker and throw in Party Poker's bonus code module and PAWs great customer support and add some features of other sites, we would get the ultimate affiliate program.

But sites just don't seem to understand.

Another problem with Merge is that it is not PT and PO compatiable and this is the reason many of my serious players do not want to play on the network. Also at .5/1.00 and above there is very little traffic and you will find it difficult to find 4 or more active tables above this level.

Even at limits such as .5/1.00 or 1/2 it is possible to earn $800 to $1000 a month in rakeback and decent players know this. These are the players I want!

LOL I was so frustrated with the Poker.com/Carbon proogram. I manged to get #1 and 2 spots for quite a few months steady but it just didnt work. Players would clear thier bonus than run and I was just frustrated cause it was time...and alot of time I put into it.

Anyway I wrote an email to the room i think it had to have been 1200+ words...CC it to both Ellen and Daria explaining from a players perspective what was wrong with the room, and just went off on it.I was totally nice about it but made a ton of suggestions including AM communication when it comes to major changes within the company. I was told" I will bring this up in our next meeting, those are some really great points and blah blah blah" lol Its like they get focused in one direction and can seem to look in another. I knew it wasnt going to do anything and it was like 3 am and just pissed about the entire thing. It did teach me a lesson - dont rely on one room.

but how do you expect them to get any players when there is no incentive to play. Do they honestly think a player who plays $5/$10 table is interested in a $500 freeroll? Probably not....adjust and accomodate - you can still offer something for everyone

I'm going to be honest: I think the company must be a mess and I would be hesitant if I was an affiliate to continue to market their products. When you do not care about people sending 1000's of players to your site something is radically wrong.

I emailed the owner, CEO and VP of Marketing who I met in Toronto over 3 weeks ago on my issues with Poker.com, payments, and the switch over from Carbon and what happened to my earnings. I got an email from the VP saying it was "player attrition".

We literally lost 2/3 of our monthly earnings. I'm not talking from 6k to 2k...... We were mid size 5 figures. How can you loose 20k or 30k per month in player value and just attribute this to attrition. It's a joke that they switch over to a new network and we lose the majority of our players and nothing can be done about it.

I dealt with Kris Robinson before he left. Kris is a great guy and was awesome to deal with and since he left.......... Things have gone way down hill. Kris still responds to my messages within a day and he's no longer with the company so that says a great deal. Ellen was great as well.

Is there a reason no one can get a response on the situation from this company?

Everyone is busy in this industry and working hard but within 24-48 hours everyone should get responded to. If your too busy to respond within that time frame it say's one thing: Hire more Aff Mgrs or your business is going to suffer.

I can post screen shots of this if I have to to ....... To show the huge decline in revenue we have encountered with the carbon switch over

It's not a coincidence that everyone on this board has saw his/her earnings drop since this switch over.

I'm keeping them & makrketing them as more of a beginner room, good place to cut your teeth. Dean has been great with me, no complaints.

I had my stats do that at Doylesroom, they flatlined the same day as an "update" & never came back. 6+ months of solid steady
growth, then poof. Bit hesitant about them this time around.
