I will not be responding to this thread any more, if anyone has anything to take up with me on this topic, my previous statement still stands - please email, AIM, or PM me.
I will not continue to monitor this thread - I do not believe it belongs here in the LEAST, and I believe it should be locked and or deleted for multiple reasons.

"my previous statement still stands"
The one where you claim I tried to circumvent your price structure by enforcing an agreement you made with me? That statement?
Or the one where you say you wont reply to this thread any more, but here you are.
Are you ever honest man? Do you have any honor whatsoever? You think anybody believes that you wont monitor this thread any more. Give me a break. You'd be a fool not to.
The reason an industry like this can function on 'handshake deals' as you call them, are because people have honor in their word.
Everybody who knows me knows I am an asshole and I fly off the handle sometimes. I cant help it. But I have my honor and I keep my word. Some of my big players might not like me or some of the things I say, but they know they are going to be paid every month...as do my sub-affiliates, as do my affiliate managers know I'm going to keep sending them butt loads of traffic every month even though they have to deal with me ranting and raving about something now and again. Through it all I keep my word.
I'd rather you be a prick and keep your word than be the smooth talking used-car salesman who lies through his teeth constantly that you are now.
I'd be happy to endorse PAW removing this thread, if you keep your word and honor the agreement that we had. It would certainly save me a lot of money and trouble...

If the pricing which was verbally agreed to was later changed then I don't blame TheDean for being really pissed off.

Bleh, can't keep my mind off this topic in general.... This is really frusterating to me.
-I did agree to terms, 3 months after the lease began
-The new terms were proposed to me after initial pricing was agreed upon and said client had been two months late in payment
-Terms were then later found to be rediculous and unbelievable, within three days, client was then notified with the posted results from him.
-Other situations similar have arrisen before, not that it matters, private software - it costs $1500 / month to license, simple as that.
Either way, this is an innappropriate place for this discussion. Perhaps if you would stay online (or unblock me from AIM), we could possibly further discuss this in private? You end the conversation with "F*** You" - and sign off or block me? What can I do?
The cost is $1500 / month - you've known this previously, that was what was originally agreed upon until you submitted a new contract - it was rejected. The costs are public and as stated.
Please delete, close, or lock this thread - this is not a matter that concerns the public in any manner. I will do my best to refrain from posting on this topic further, but I feel I must defend my reputation.

If you are offering a product to the public then any thread about your product that isn't plainly factually inaccurate is appropriate.

If you did change the terms, then I think TheDean is right on this one, and you should offer him the original deal. You can't offer a low price just to get a deal, then jack up the price when he is already deeply invested.
As much as all this fighting is getting very annoying on here lately, people also do have a right to express their opinions if they are not satisfied with a product or service which they received through this site.

Last time I deleted a thread, I almost got tarred and feathered.

When I first began Rakeshark in February of 05, I came to Arthur to build me a member login database and stats system. I had very little money at the time so Arthur worked with me on a two year deal that would get me a functional database, and also pay him a fair wage.
We had a "handshake" deal and it worked fine.
I can't speak for anything that is going on in this situation, but I have used Arthur for services in the past, and I am sure I will use him again at some point in the future.

I am not going to delete this post, but I did change the title. Nor am I going to take sides. If the price changed at the end, then yes that does suck and you probably have a valid complaint. However you both seem to have valid points, and I doubt posting it here is going to get anything solved.
The one thing that does seem strange however Dean is the way in which you conduct your business, and this may be why you keep finding yourself in situations where nobody wants to negotiate a fair deal with you.
In this instance you told some one over IM that you are going to " do everything in your power to fuck their life up"
Two weeks ago an issue arose with you and another affiliate where you spoke of knowing shady people in Boston and threatened to have this guys wife raped.
Regardless of whose right or wrong in either situation, this is not how most affiliates I know conduct their business. Nor would I ever do business with you after seeing how you threatened to harm someones family in such an awful way.
