Two rules of business:
1) Have written agreements (especially with friends).
2) Never do business with people who will threaten to kill you for less than $2000.

Arthur I have no desire to unblock you on AIM or discuss anything with you unless you change your position. We discussed this three times already and each time you keep repeating the same things:
a) I DELETED THIS PART. Pm me if you need explanation TheDean - Brandon
b) you are telling me that the deal we made and that you agreed to is 'not going to work', you now want, sorry, 'have' to charge me $1500 per month and $200 per month for each additional site
This is the deal that I proposed to you, and which you accepted. If you publicly accept it here I will PM jeremy and ask him to please lock this thread and we can all move on. if you ever break the agreement i'll ask that this thread be re-opened.
I will pay you $750 per month beginning when site #1 is finished...i'm pretty sure its done now, but i just need to approve it. Once site 2 is finished this monthly rate will jump to $1000 (if it comes online between months i'll pay you a prorated portion for the rest of that month). Once site three comes online, rate jumps to $1200 per month, same thing w/ the proration. Once site four comes online, $1400 per month.
By 'comes online' I mean the sites is approved by me as fully function and all of the mods we need from you are done. Site number one we've already given you all of the mods we need so once those are done, payment can commence. Hopefully you can get the others done quickly as well.
After the first full month of you getting $1400, if all updates have been done in a timely fashion then you'll get a $350 bonus...so effectively you'll be getting $1750 per month assuming you dont't go AWOL again for two months. Just to be clear, my hope is that I'll pay you $1750 each and every month and we'll get everything updated on time.
Once all sites are approved and up and running you will not have to do more than 10 hours per month of updates for me or you get $75 per hour for your time.
This rate cannot change, nor can you cancel our agreement, without four months prior notice...to give me sufficient time to find a new software solution.
As for whether or not I'll pay you, my credibility is beyond reproach, I pay out over $100,000 per month in rakeback, sub affiliate payments and to various vendors...but whatever, I'll throw in something for that. If I am late in paying you once all sites are approved, by more than one week from the 1st of the month, you can shut my sites down and you'll get a 20% ($280) late payment fee. If I don't pay you by the 15th of the month then you'll get the late payment fee plus a $500 reactivation fee to get my software up and running again.
I think this is more than fair, as do I think its a joke we had to conduct this here. This is what we already agreed to and you tried to take it back. I do not accept that. Agree to the terms here and we can be done with this.

1 I am learning over and over the very very hard way.
2, like, ya. But what if its for tens of thousands of dollars?
RakeReport.net was straight stolen from me by an angry employee who disguised his anger with me to be able to get me to transfer the domain to him. I turned down an offer to sell 50% of that site for $30k. So that means I valued it at greater than $60k. I'm not trying to say that this justifies my behavior or anything toward that guy...but you have to understand, I made those threats to him after like 9 other methods just were not working out and I really didn't see any other way to try and reason with the guy to get my sites back...it was a hail marry last resort and obviously fully without merit as I'm not giving up this insane life I have and going to jail over a website. Yes there are better ways to handle these things, but seriously Jeremy, if TonyG somehow fucked you over and stole this site from you when you were selling it, and you didn't get $1 for it, and he fully owned it (yes i know you'd never find yourself in that spot, but i did), you wouldn't flip out on him and say some nasty shit?

I have been working within this industry now for 3+ years and have worked with some of the largest businesses in the industry during that time, and continue to do so. I have a very good reputation in this community and there have never been any problems or issues of this nature and when problems or issues have come up over the past three years I have done my very best to solve them while making sure that everyone involved is treated as fairly as possible.
My intent in this situation and any others that I encounter is to provide a superior software suite that serves poker affiliates who want to give Rakeback. With this monthly lease the software is fully customizable to the specs of the client. But when Degen asked to add this software package to 3 additional sites, I had to charge more money for the maintenance and customization that will be required on each of the additional sites. I will send Degen a PM here on PAW that is a resolution I think he will find fair, as I don't like to partake in this mudslinging fest, I like to make software solutions for people in the poker affiliate business.
Please get back to me via AIM, PM, or whatever communication channel you deem appropriate, let's get this worked out and move on.

UPDATE:
Arthur got in touch with me and began to make some concessions and said things to the effect of 'I just want to get this resolved and move on' and that he wanted me to make a name clearing post here once that was done.
Well in typical Arthur fashion he promised me the world and was very nice and professional when speaking to me...but he hasn't done a fucking thing as far as the sites go, just flapped his gums some more.
Arthur even if you finish my sites today and I never have another complaint about you for the next ten years, I have to say one thing which is an absolute truth that everybody who may work with you in the future needs to know:
ARTHUR IS THE SLOWEST DEVELOPER I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH
He goes AWOL for weeks at a time and doesn't reply to AIM, email or any other means of contact. Then when he returns from hibernation, he insinuates directly or indirectly that he should be paid lease fee's for the time in which you have been 'using' his software.
Well Arthur, when the software isn't done and its totally unusable until you finish your work on it...its a joke to tell the person that they should pay a lease fee for that time. It is also a joke that you should open you mouth at that time to say anything other than 'I'm really sorry for costing you tens of thousands of dollars and forcing you to lie yet again to many vendors, players and partners...I know I've fucked this whole project up from the start and I'm going to do everything in my power to make it right...and now.'
Thats what I'd like to here from you right now Arthur

Funny how trouble seems to follow you around Degen, especially with rakeback related sites. Maybe it's the way you conduct yourself, huh.
