Please Review My Newest Site
Okay, so I stopped working on my 'big' site for a few days to build this one. It's ChanPoker-Bonus.com. I bought the domain, and built the site from scratch including all of the graphics and content in the last 5 nights. It's just a small site, 6 pages, but I'd love to hear some feedback.
1/ What do you think of the overall look?
2/ I could also use the help from any SEO guru's out there that might have some advice for me. Anything good that I'm missing?
3/ Another thing I'm wondering about - I've made all of the 'Play Now' rollovers go to direct download. My thinking here is that if I've done my job well, players that push that button should be ready to download. The other thought was that although I may lose a few players that are afraid to download without going to Chan Poker, I'm thinking I may gain more from players who go ahead and download that may not have from the ChanPoker.com website. Any thoughts here would be appreciated.

Very nice Donk! I like the extra stuff at the side like the hats and hoody. As far as things I found the blue on black text alright till I scrolled down to read more. Once there was only text it became difficult to concentrate on.
I would also stick some htags on the page and some alt tags in your images. Not sure if this would help or not but I wouldnt put the bonus amount in your title tag. Split up your first keyword to go Chan Poker Bonus | Chan poker Review or something. The bonus can go in your description. I would keep your title tag to actual words that you want used for the page
Very nice though!

Nice site and sticking to the six pages things is a good idea.
Just as an example I built this one - xhttp://www.chanpokerplayer.com - built it very quick and made only two entries about a month or so ago.
It is PR2 !!! - lol
If I have any advice - it would be to make your bonus code stand out more - bold it up and make the font bigger than the surronding text maybe

I am not trying to knock your program but I am curious how affiliates like yourself get away with including the name of any poker room within their domain name. Trademark issues and such. If it is ok than excuse me for asking.

Here's how I did it - I asked first. So, I wouldn't say I'm 'getting away with' anything. I asked, they said 'go for it'. Not only that, but I got a nice compliment from Brandon today. Chan Poker is smart. They realize they will always get top ranking for the best keywords. A site like this should in theory convert better than a site that has 20 poker rooms to choose from. So, would you rather have a site that carries 20 poker rooms ranked #2,3,4,5,6,7 etc., or have sites that will keep your targeted keywords targeted? It makes all the sense in the world for them to allow this, I'm surprised that Chan is one of the few that realize this. Props to Brandon!

Cogger, now that you know it's all legit, do you have anything to say about the site? Anything you like, anything you don't? Any advice is appreciated.

Thats a really nice looking site, looks clean and easy to navigate. Really well done on the design there. One thing I would say is that I agree with kaus on the blue on black text. Its not terrible, but theres probably something out there that could be a little clearer. Also, there is a horizontal scrollbar when I view it in IE7. The page is slightly wider than the width of the window.

Thats what I forgot to mention. Is there any way you could center it for FireFox. It sits snug against the left hand side of the screen..just looks off balance a tad.

Thanks for all the responses so far.
Kaus, I can't seem to get the damn thing to take htags without it screwing with the text in Netscape. Any ideas?
ThePokerBank, does the text color just bother you on the homepage, or other pages as well? I really like the color, but also understand the issue on the homepage. I fiddled with a number of colors, but can't seem to find anything else that's easier on the eyes for the homepage. The colors of the site are already picked , so I'm not sure what else to try. Any ideas for a better text color on black? The scrollbar is my big 'f' up. I did the whole site 1024 - duh. Do you think anyone will care?
