It seems to have been designed really well but you probably need to give your text a little more width & im not a fan of your home navigation, The bold yellow seems out of place from the rest of the theme but excellent start.

It's so bare. Nothing captures my attention to make me want to stay and explore

Pretty clean and nice. I think the site is too wide with a little too much space. Could also try to get a catching logo. Keep up the good work

Hey...

I am not overly liking the red I find it hard on the eyes (to bright).

I would add some images and some more content on the home page.

If you dont have permission from teh other sites than dont use thier work, your FT review is from Pokerlistings, a couple of your articles come from forum/blog posts.

Good luck

Hi ,

really nice design !!!

i think you need to ask yourself important question : "How do people will find my site ???" .

the website is just too general , it will be very very very hard to rank is SE , for : strategy , site review and stuff like that .

I've never heard SEO explained so well in such a short manner. Usually we hear about keywords, and keyword linking, and long tailing and building.. and so forth..

Simply, how will people find my site. Can someone just PM that phrase to me every month or so!

You really need more than 2 lines of content on the homepage of your site. If you're Google, and you're trying to decide how well to rank a page with 2 lines of content versus a page with several paragraphs, which one do you think you're going to rank higher in the results?

You need to copy edit or have someone else copy edit the site for you, because you seem to randomly capitalize words that shouldn't be capitalized. That detracts from the site's credibility in a very real and serious way.

All of your poker rooms seem to be positive in the extreme, at least on the initial page where you have the list of poker rooms and the one liners about each of them. If every poker room on your site is the "best", it detracts from the reviews' credibility, and it makes it harder for your users to decide where to play.

Real quick, the links on top of your page that are buttons, Google can't recognize those, so they aren't providing you any SERP value.

If you make those text links it'll help your search engine efforts in the long run.

Also, you may want to think of targeting a smaller niche than poker strategy and poker reviews. That is going to be very hard to rank for, especially for a new site.

You should brainstorm what markets you can dominate. Some smaller ones that come to mind are 5 card stud, omaha hi/lo, etc.

If you can locate a market like that with less competition, you'll have an easier time getting traffic from SE's.

Not to sound like I am being a push over but why tell someone not to go for something cause it will be difficult? poker reviews and poker strategy are not impossible terms...obv poker or online poker would be hard but poker reviews???? A little bit of time and some work and it is possible.

My thing is this...why shoot yourself short by going after the non competitive terms only to realize that they suck as far as traffic goes? There is no problem obtaining ranks in a not so competitive market but ultimately we all want to make money...

So you shorten your goals to be obtainable, give yourself easy targets and where does that get you...It gets you six months of trying to make money off of "easy" terms and having to start over with something else when you realize its not happening.

My suggestion to the person here - if you want to target certain words and phrases great...the best of luck to you, have more than one goal in mind and start reading than keep reading.
