Hey, nothing wrong with Ralphy! Except his drinking problem. But he always said it how it was or is... And come on, he is no G. Bush!

Oilers received a lot of money trading Gretzky but they definitely "sold out" But I'm one of the biggest Anti-Oiler fan there is. So it didnt bother me when he got traded.

It is normal to change majors several times.
I was thinking about this the whole time writing my orginal post in this thread. What you said is bang on true. But this is one of the reasons why I think jumping feet first into college or unversity is not always the best idea. Chill out, work a few different jobs or continue affilating, take some time and figure out your interests because they will change.

If you think you're able to juggle them both then have the best of both worlds:

Go to University to enjoy the social aspect of things and work on your business in all the free time!

Another person who I believe posted about the same situation that could be an added help to you would be Justin. From previous posts he was going through a similar experience. Just a thought

A while ago I quit teaching full time (to supply occasionally) and went to this work full time.

Best decision I have ever made so far.

But I have been through college/university and loved it tremendously. Will always remember the good times and experiences!

My suggestion is:

1. Go to school at least part time.
2. Pay for it - no student loan. Since you have the cash.
3. Split the income according to workload. 75-25% sounds best.
4. Do your own work separately on the side.
5. Use offline bonus codes at COLLEGE to get lots of signups.
6. Figure out what options college can give you outside of affiliating and focus on those courses part time.
7. Enjoy the partying, the drinking, the women, the late nights. You will remember them forever.
8. Have fun no matter what you do.
9. Invest some of your income just in case EVERYTHING falls apart or goes south.
10. Do what you WANT to do - don't let anyone talk you into unhappiness (especially your parents, although they are usually right!)

Good luck!

Plenty of people here were/are making six figure incomes while still in college. If you want to go then go. Its worth it to go as long as you take classes that will have value.

While everyone else is working normal crappy college jobs youll be ballin working on the sites during most of the BS lectures. The idea of splitting it percentage wise seems like the obvious plan if you want to go.

Try college out for a year and see if it is for you , while still affiliating part time .

Remember you can run some promotions to the college crowd while your there . Some special student only online tournaments , or have cds made and leave them around the school . put up bonus posters with your code .

Theres a lot of $$ o be made with the college crowd.

I went to college and got a degree which I never use anymore. If you were in your 30's and doing well online I would say don't waste your time. But since you are young and have the opportunity, my advice would be to go to school, have fun, and be the biggest baller of all your friends. It is a great thing to have in your pocket, especially in the future if you want to join a big internet marketing firm.

Even better find a way to get your fellow college or frat buddies involved in the business, where you benefit of course. Most college kids will work for dirt cheap.

Whether you ever use the education or not, you will never regret doing it. Plus college is a good time to have random one night stands, do keg stands, and generally have no responsibility except for passing exams.

Although the argument of passing on college to do internet marketing is a far better one than skipping college to become a professional online poker player......now that is just stupid.

Go to college and work on it part time thats the best option. If you throw away college and it doesnt work you have lost a great oppertunity. Try to make the best of both options.

College is wasted on the young. I'd love to go back now to just learn. Still, I recommend going to college, it's an experience that I wouldn't trade for anything.
