Anyone promoting Micon System 2 yet?

Just wondering if anyone is having success promoting the Micon System 2?

I'm thinking about running some ads for it and wanted to kow if anyone else is having good luck with it.

After reading the thread on neverwinpoker about the release of the book I decided against it.

I've had a little non-commital blurb about Micon and this new system up with a YouTube video of him from the WSOP2006 for two days. Two sales so far, and a large number of click-thrus.
I kinda tend to go along with Jeremy's philosophy on this. Regardless of what you think of Micon or his system, it's simply a product, not a moral stance you have to take, and people can make up their own minds.

And are people always that, uh, fiesty on the NWP forums?

I think this is the difference between affiliates who are just promoting products for the money, and affiliates who actually have a relationship with their customers. If you run any site where your players have a voice, they're never going to trust you again when you try to push a new product after they see you tryin to sell them crap like this. If you plan on staying in the game for a while, selling over priced products that don't deliver isn't going to get you very far.

I dont think the product is bad at all, and my customers actually do like it and have gained insight they thought was helpful for tournament play. I was even invited to listen to a live commentary while he was playing a tournament just for being a customer.

In my opinnion its a great product and I have sold over 10 copies in the past week.

I suggest you guys use every product you promote, so that you can see if your customers will actually like it. I personally think Micon is a great tournament player regardless of how bad he has run as of lately.

If you have alot of traffic from tournament players you will be very satisfied with how well it sells

And I've chatted with a number of other players at PokerStars and FT who've bought and used the system and are happy with their purchase.

Micon is without a doubt a polarizing figure in the poker world, and NWP kinda gives me the creeps from time to time, but if he produces a useful poker product, seems like you're not really breaking a trust with your clients/forum participants in promoting that product.
