New Poker E-Book Clickbank Site
Hey Guys,
I ve just launched an e-book selling site in clickbank: www.getpokerebook.com
It's a rather custom layout and marketing plan for clickbank selling e-books but I still would like your opinion on the content, layout, design and the marketing idea..
The primary goal and only goal of this website is to have my ebook sold when a visitor comes. Im doing this by highlighting text, caps text and good reasoning. I have a newsletter and video that help to persuade the subscriber to buy the e-book and to show him the value of the e-book
I have played online no limit holdem cash games and tournaments myself for over 5 years and it is my firm belief that 90% of the people don't really understand what it takes to be good at online poker. Most of them play online poker the same way as they would play in live poker, without poker tools..
The Poker Tools (and Strategies) we present will overwhelm the reader we think.
Anyway, let me hear your ideas about our concept on the website, and if you think it will convert well. Tips and questions are always welcome.
Meanwhile, you are most welcome to be an affiliate and help to build the success of this e-book. I think your visitors will surely learn from our e-book. We can give you $20 per sale. You must sign up here: http://getpokerebook.dominateonlinep...om/affiliates/
IF your website has over 50 unique visitors a day and you are willing to promote our e-book for at least 1 year on your frontpage we are giving away a $50 advertising bonus that we pay into your paypal or neteller account if you email us at
We have confidence that you will make more sales than this $50, so we think it's a good investment!
Waiting for your replies and thoughts!

I think you should drop the ads for Titan on that page. It looks like you are over selling it.
Also just something I noticed but you are allowing people to download all 9 books from various authors including Harrington, Sklansky and others for free ( Can you do this legally? )
But you have added in all these extra features that are so valuable. I keep reading more and more than hit the bottom of the page and it sells for $49.95. I am not sure how many sales you make, I don't buy things like this but when I seen that I thought cheap. If the product works and so valuable why is it priced at $49.95. I think you need to drop some of these "special features" if you want people to believe that you are selling something credible.
Thats just my opinon. Whenever i see this

| Buy our product and you'll also recieve this worth $299, plus we'll throw in this for an additional $199, and order now and we'll give you this which is a whopping $499 all free for ordering my infomercial product...over $900 of valuable tools for $29.95 |
I run fast ...

Is he still doing that lol. Anyway Jekkers I think you missed my point..you cant just drop the value of those items you are including and expect people t jump all over it. As a buyer the first thing I looked for and didnt find - A satisfaction guaranteed or your money back
Look at most of the products available all guarantees to the customer. I think micon was something like 60 days
but you do offer a guarantee that people are going to make huge amounts of money with your product so why cant you refund money if they dont like it.
Quote:
| You will reach the money in sit and go’s every time as you’ll gain access to a database that has stored the historic poker tournament results of your opponents. Know how much time they reach the money and at what limits they play |
That is wrong and very misleading. How can that information mean that they will make the money in every sit n go they play. They can all the information they want but they still have to play the game and the player.
You cant just drop the value and make it seem credible when statements are made that are misleading to the reader. You are basically promising them that they will become a top player .... when in reality they wont. Can you give those download copies of poker books to people?

I'd get rid of those 9 books right away, I can't imagine those publishers wont come after you for giving away what they make a living on.

I dont much like the idea of a money back guarantee, Ive talked to some other clickbank publishers and they told me it sometimes really suck, even when people like your product and read it they can still ask their money back. That's just plain stupid. I mean, you can't ask a poker player to give back his deposit when he didn't like to play in the room when losing $50 in 5 minutes.......

How can you sell/give-away other peoples products? Isn't that illegal?

You need the money back guarantee if you want to sell any.
Also, the longer the guarantee is for, the fewer returns you will have. We offered a 1 full year 100% money back guarantee on our poker dealing course, sold it for $197 and had very few returns.
Last week, we finished getting the product into clickbank so we had to reduce our guarantee from 1 year to 8 weeks (per their policy) but still refunds are minimal... I'm sure this is partly due to the quality of the product you are selling but don't let the idea that you're going to have tons of people that purchase the product return it unless it really is low quality.
The guarantee is essential to sells... and if clickbank is handling it it should be straight forward and easy to do.

If you're using clickbank you've got no choice, you have to offer at least an 8 week guarantee. And either way it's something you should do, because it makes the customer feel a lot more comfortable.
