total nub need help

Hi i have a question see the thing is i got this domain name but the name is not poker related i actually got this for a personal website and yesterday i found out about pokeraffiliateworld and was kind of interested in this soo the question is would that website be a good place to put the content on or i need to get a different domain the site is still under construction any help will be appreciated..thks

Welcome to PAW!

If I were you I would buy a new domain name. They aren't that expensive nowdays. It is much easier (SEO-wise) to get visitors if your domain name is related to your content.

On the other hand, if you have lots of traffic to your current website you can always put up some banners and see what happens but I would go for a gambling related domain name.

BAHH thks for the tip i was kind of thinking of that i was just not sure of it since on my website i habe a perosnal blog about my poker life i thought that would be a nice place to put al my content but i am just an amateur player mostlly play b&m around la,and ms and also play online at tilt but i will give it a go and see what happens ...thks again

If you have a poker blog I would put up some banners (wont hurt you).

It totally depends on what kind of site you want and what niche you're looking for. Some affiliates earn lots with just their blogs.
