Question How to go about partnership on project

I am working on something with someone and would like to know how to go about a partnership. More so I want all information ie stats and such available to him upon request if he should need it. I have started an email to all my AM's but beyond the first sentance I am not sure what to say.

I will be providing all data to him monthly, but can I set up seperate affiliate accounts and use that instead of the main ones?

I am also open to any other info or tips that anyone may have.

How about using the PAW program? Both of you have access to stats, and both can access the account easily.

I recommend hammering out ALL of the details before hand, otherwise it could get messy if one of you wants to dissolve the partnership. Figure out what each of your goals are, how long term you are planning to be in this for, etc. This will make it easy when it comes to going your separate ways later down the road (should you choose to).

As for accessing accounts, if it is an equal partnership then you should both have access to all accounts and stats. If you don't trust the person at all, then you probably shouldn't be working with them.

It may even be a good idea to start a company with both of your names listed as owners. Then you can have all your affiliate accounts set up for this company.

Hope this helps,

Graham

This is want I would do if I was going to partner with someone.

I would just rotate the affiliate ID's every week or bi-weekly.

IMO this would be the least hassle way for 2 affiliates to run a site together. No accounting required at the end of month!

That would work if you were on an entirely CPA plan, but MGR could create problems. For example one affiliate lands a handful of huge players during their fair time. Although your solution would seem easy, it could create a great deal of discontent among any partners.

It seems to be a very tricky situation and I would love to hear what people with established partnerships are currently doing.

Partnerships are notoriously problematic. I would seek legal advice.
