I recommend hammering out ALL of the details before hand, otherwise it could get messy if one of you wants to dissolve the partnership. Figure out what each of your goals are, how long term you are planning to be in this for, etc. This will make it easy when it comes to going your separate ways later down the road (should you choose to).

As for accessing accounts, if it is an equal partnership then you should both have access to all accounts and stats. If you don't trust the person at all, then you probably shouldn't be working with them.

It may even be a good idea to start a company with both of your names listed as owners. Then you can have all your affiliate accounts set up for this company.
