I think ultimately you want to provide your users with poker rooms that you approve of and that you can recommend them to play at. Everyone has their own criteria of what is important to them in an online poker room. Play at a number of rooms to get a feel for the differences and then give your players some honest advice about the pros and cons of each. I would start out with 5 or so poker rooms and differentiate between big and medium sized rooms. Then adjust accordingly based on what you like and what your players are enjoying.
Once you start sending some players, you can negotiate with a poker room and see if you may be able to offer something extra like private tournaments or a special bonus.

Real poker players will come back to sites that they like, as simple as that. You should do the research to determine the best sites for you and your players. If you give them quality information about the poker sites, they can be better informed and if you give them quality poker sites, they will come back over and over again.

Over the past 4+ years of affiliate management, I have seen what works and what doesn't work. We can help you determine how to best market our brands to your customers, whether it be specific copy, tournament information or bonus information. I can also help give you tips on the best ways to market your site overall. Kind of like an online marketing consultant. I have given a number of tips to beginner affiliates over the years and enjoy helping people out.
Best of luck.
