Does anyone here have a link to see an example of these instructions on Pokerstrategy's site?

Today is the first day that they began sending their players to a new site, namely TitanPoker. And what do they say about player who already have Titan accounts? I quote:

Quote:

This means:
I already have a Titan Poker Account!
You are playing or have played at Titan, but you still want to get all the advantages and promotions of Pokerstrategy? For users, that already have an account that was NOT created using the Pokerstrategy bonus code we have two solution:

a) Your Titan account (real money) has been inactive for 30 days. This is the easiest way to get your account transferred to Pokerstrategy. Go to Pokerstrategy profile. Enter in your Titan Poker account information. Please enter your account name that you use to log in, not your screen name!

Attention!
We will inform you via email as soon as your account has been transferred to Pokerstrategy. Until then, please be patient and do not play on that account.

b) Your account has been used in the last 30 days. In this case, you have exactly two weeks time to get your account transferred to Pokerstrategy.
Go to Pokerstrategy profile. Enter in your Titan Poker account information. Please enter your account name that you use to log in, not your screen name! We will notify you via email when your account has been switched.

So we just sit back and watch our players get poached just because a super affiliate says so? Does anyone from TitanPoker read these boards? Is this acceptable?

What is on http://www.pokerstrategy.org.uk/de/news/486/ is not what is translated above I don't believe.

It seems to me to say that a solution from Titan will be on a case by case basis, which suggests to me that non-affiliate players might be convertable.

Was the page changed today.

This has certainly never been okay with Partypoker, and it appears to not be okay with Titan. Nobody should do business with a cardroom that would allow this.

The page was indeed edited either yesterday or today. It still says that they will do their best to get the player account changed to Pokerstrategy's campaign, though. It would be great if someone from Titan could confirm that if the player transfers are going to happen, that it will ONLY be from unaffiliated accounts. Also, does every affiliate get an equal chance to snag unaffiliated accounts, or is this reserved only for "special" affiliates?

Im not sure why he defends this as well unless their is some affiliation with Pokerstrategy. I spoke with partypoker on numerous occasions about this, and was basically told if a player switches affiliates one time or closes to reopen, that in their mind it could be for any reason. They will investigate if *I* can provide a link to a message board where PS was luring people or provide them with email exchanges between the player and PS. It gives a turn the head attitude towards PS and what they are doing IMHO.

To me it says, we are not going to openly state on a public website that we will switch you over but come talk to us and Im sure we can work it out to switch you over.

Why not look at what actually happened?

They put up a page saying how they want to steal players. And within ONE DAY, Titan slapped them down.

Apparently they have made a deal for switching over non-tracked players. That seems not terrible, even if not very good business on Titan's part.

As for Party, you were told that if you present any evidence of them cheating (like this linked thread says about cheating Titan) that they would do something about it! You then say they are lying to you, based on what?

I've got a lot more reason to hate these poaching sites than you do, so please don't make insinuations. You really will do a lot better in this business if you act professionally instead of spreading gossip. In this case thecorster posted text and a link to a page, and it was removed the SAME DAY.

"Also, does every affiliate get an equal chance to snag unaffiliated accounts, or is this reserved only for "special" affiliates?"

I'd guess you have to be "special", but it does seem like a deal point that is on the table.

I dont post gossip nor do I think I need to post private information on this board when I am trying to make an informative post. I dont even think you believe half the crap that comes out of your posts. I am still not sure why you bend over backwards defending this company unless you either are affiliated with them or you engage in similar practices. Perhaps, you just like to make comments to illicit responses from others so you can feel important. Either way, party allowing affiliate accounts to be switched around is wrong in my opinion. Most players who are switched would be moved without the initial affiliate even knowing. Its a problem that could impact everyone. I thought it was worth mentioning and advising other people that it could occur and apparantly is occuring.
