The chances they are allowed to do that are zero.

If you have any evidence of it, post it here and/or tell Party. If you don't, then this thread probably should be deleted as rumor mongering.

That would be great Jeremy. They were sent the players old account name along with their newly created one. It seems besides reporting the issue that they need proof Pokerstrategy lured them by providing them a link to the forum in which this took place. Seems ridiculous because I always thought that once a player registers, they can not close an account to open a new one under someone else. Kriton seems to say this is no longer against policy.

Believe me, they do it in germany and Party knows it.
They are so unbelievable big that Party have no problem with that.

I don't believe sweeping accusations without the slightest proof.

I hope this nutty thread gets deleted.

Why do you always think people are writing directly to you PPP? What makes this a nutty thread? Because private account details and emails are not being posted on a public board for you to read? Ive had a few long time players from overseas write in about this luring and advice on closing accounts coming directly from poker strategy. It seems others have also. I am sure some affiliates would like to know what is going on as it might have some effect on their playerbase in the future. Unless you have some connection to poker strategy or you engage in this practice yourself, you can take it for what its worth or ignore it.

No I don't take anybody's word when they post unsubstantiated. This isn't the "slam a cardroom I don't like" rumors forum.

If this site is doing something wrong, and that is a "fact", then prove it.

Then, more importantly, don't post nonsense that Party allows them to do it. That is rude, unprofessional and inappropriate.

I take many of your comments as rude, unprofessional, and inappropriate and many times made just to antagonize other posters on this forum. It is certaintly not the first time you have been accused of doing it. From the responses I have gotten from party, they are allowing it. So, on this matter we can agree to disagree. If it continues, you will be hearing a lot more about this and I wont even tell you "I told you so". Hopefully Jeremy can quietly inquire about this if he has the time. If you wish to PM about anything, you can.

I can also confirm that (last time I checked maybe 6-8 months ago) Pokerstrategy had very detailed "how-to" guides for closing one PP account and signing up over Pokerstrategy.

I am pretty sure that Party has known about this for quite some time. With Pokerstrategy's affiliate campaign literally bringing in millions in each month, though, it seems that Party has opted just to look the other way.

This could get scary for us as affiliates in the near future as Pokerstrategy has recently announced that it will be working with several other sites in the future, not just Party. It's just a matter of time before the guides for closing and reopening accounts at Full Tilt, UB, Absolute, etc. are all written up for Pokerstrategy members.

*EDIT: Just dug this up from the website: http://www.pokerstrategy.org.uk/en/news/406/
PokerStrategy Revolution

Like we often announced in the past, the future of PokerStrategy is so amazing and with a lot of surprises for our members: One of these surprises is that we will add more poker rooms to our offer in the future.
What will happen?
After a long and also successful partnership with PartyPoker, we decided to work together with other online poker rooms. The negotiations are still running but soon we will be able to offer you alternatives to PartyPoker.

What does this mean exactly?

In the future new players will be able to select out of a great variety of the biggest poker rooms.
Also in our forum we will be able to have free discussions about the best poker room to play on. A thing that wasn't allowed according to our exclusive deal with PartyPoker.

Why did we do this?

PokerStrategy is growing very fast. PokerStrategy is growing too fast for a single poker room. We still think that PartyPoker is the best place to play on but with the addition of our ninth language (Italian) and the tenth language (Korean) to follow soon we had no other choice of doing this.

When will we start?

At the moment we are in negotiations with the biggest online poker rooms next to PartyPoker. But of course the change can not be made immediately, since we have to change our techniques/support and stuff like this. So we are planning to add the first new poker provider in four to eight weeks. Other poker rooms will follow step by step.

What will happen with the PartyPoints system?
With the introduction of new poker sites plus their different point systems, PokerStrategy will work out a new system, which will combine all the different point systems in one useful solution.

Which options do PokerStrategy members have, who are already a member on one of the new poker sites?
This is a complicated question. But we are working on an appropriate solution. New information about this topic will be available when we added the first new poker room.

What should you do now?

Actually despite a lot of pleasant anticipation nothing changes at the moment. When you are considering to create a new poker account on another site it could be worth waiting a bit. Since we are always offering interesting promotions, content, articles and coachings for our members.
By the way this is only a small step in the not so distant future with PokerStrategy. We will have a couple of amazing changes soon.

That's the point. Either post those responses, or don't slander them. Act professionally and either "put up or shut up". If you want cardrooms to take affiliates seriously, then act seriously.

Party is a business partner of mine and I don't want either them ripping me off or someone badmouthing them on a forum without presenting any evidence of any wrongdoing.

There are plenty of places out there telling players to uninstall and reinstall. These are rogue affiliates who need to be shut down by cardrooms, not just because they rip off other affiliates but they rip off the cardrooms too. No cardroom can give out $150 (or whatever) every time a player uninstalls software. And, such actions bring the cardroom no value at all so they never tolerate it (the value would obviously be extremely negative if the pay CPA multiple times, and most larger affiliates are on CPA.)

Why on Earth would they care about an affiliate who brings 100 players in a month of the 100 players were already players? That would make no sense.

If this site is ripping off Party, then post the eividence, send it to Party and demand they take action. But if you are just going to wave your arms, please don't make posts that attack my business partners (Party that is, I'd never heard of this website before).
