You have one of the free $50 sites, right? Could you tell me the security measures you go through so that people do not create multiple accounts thus screwing you out of bonus money? Can you email the Party affiliates department with a list of account names and they can verify that there are no duplicate accounts created from the same ip address? Are you upfront with your affiliate manager about what you are doing, or is it kind of an unspoken thing?

I have a few dimes I could drop into something like this, I just want to make sure that I have all my bases covered before I do so. Thanks for any guidance that you can give.

Hey, i'll make a thread about offering free money either tonight, or the next few days once I get a chance. I don't want to make a small abbreviated post right here... I'll tell you everything you need to know very soon

Here is what I do basically:

I have a big "FRAUD WARNING" as part of the sign up process on my website, so that players are scared to create multiple accounts, I think this simple technique is very effective. I also call every single player, and ask them some security questions, "How Old Are you?" "What's your birthday?" "What's your address?". If they screw up at all, I reject them.

I cross check my records for every account, to see if the same phone number/other information is being used more than once. If there are a lot of players from the same area code or something, I further investigate.

If any information is remotely suspicious, you have to be willing to reject the player. I reject about 1/3 - 1/2 of the players who try and sign up with the offer. The goal is to get the players who are more likely to make another deposit.

If I get players who are suspicious, or who are a family member of another person who signed up, I make them make a real money deposit before I transfer to them. So I will offer them the same offer, as long as they deposit to confirm their identity. Some times I even make people scan an ID and send it to me.

Next month, we will be implementing a new PHP database, which will allow us to log the IP Address (an unique address that every computer has) of every person who submits a sign up form. If there are any repeats, we will reject the players unless they make a real money deposit.

Even with all of this, a lot of players are still generating extremely low rake. For this reason, always use the CPA trackers. Your goal should be to have Party Poker's total MGR equal a little bit more than your CPA payout, so that they don't withold your funds.

This month, the MGR that my players have been generating has been pretty low, so I recommend doing this along with another offer/website in which players are more likely to play more(with MGR trackers). What this will do is generate more profit for Party Poker through your other offer, so that they don't have reason to withold your funds. As long as you are making Party Poker a profit compared to your payout, through all your offers, your funds will not be witheld.

That is why I am going to be launching the website, OnlinePokerKit.com very soon, which is going to offer a similar offer, but make players make a deposit first. This will track players to MGR trackers instead, and boost Party Pokers earnings.

Hope this helped

Freeran-

This is good info, thanks! I wish I had seen it before running some of my own promotions; I would likely have saved some money.
