Default message from PokerAffiliate.com regarding checks

We DO care about your payouts and we ARE aware of the problems. We are looking for new processors and hopefully this whole issue will be solved soon. At the moment checks are the only possible payment method. Please also keep in mind that they are real checks and can be cashed.
To Jeremy:as for the PAW network; as soon as we have a proper payout method Ronald will contact you.

Thanks Katrien,

I didn't mean to sound so harsh, as you may or may not have noticed I stayed completely clear of the old thread.

It was just a little disturbing getting the email I received yesterday from this company. As soon as you guys have a new processor, I'll be the first to give you positive exposure for it.

Not in my experience. I have received a half dozen of these pieces of paper and found no bank that will accept them. Can you please suggest a specific bank? I work in the financial district of a major US city so any bank will do.

In the meantime I will focus my efforts on sites who are able to make payments, that is, every other site. Please understand this is only sensible business practice and nothing personal.

Thank you,
toad

Actually they are completely NOT real checks, they are collections notes as any bank here in the United States will be happy to tell you. Banks will charge a fee to process these notes, of anywhere from $40 to a few hundred, and will not touch a note with value less than $200.

For those of us with notes less than $200, we are in a tough spot as there is no way to get a hold of the funds. I have emailed pokeraffiliate support numerous times, and have had zero response from you guys. I've suggested cancelling the transaction and letting the funds sit in the affiliate account until you have a better method, but apparantly no one wants to take the time to actually send a response to me.

I will hope that this thread actually gets a response, but overall I must say that the affiliate department has really not handled this situation very well. Rather than disagreeing with us about how easy these things are to cash, how about listening and finding a workaround?

I got a response from PokerAffiliate. It said that its not their problem and to contact "the company that cannot be named"

And then I got something back from that company saying that its not their problem, they just remit the "checks" and that it was the issuers problem. I even offered to open up an account with them and get a credit card, and they refused.

Its a funny story too... Pokeraffiliate branks used to be #1 on my website when I started in this business. Then Edward and Johan left, putting pokerroom.com as my #2. Then carly etc. left... now i took off a couple brands and pokerroom is #3 or below.

Its about time somebody got in there and fixed things. Why don't you guys go to http://www.nevadafirst.com and hire one of their International Business Advisors?

I got an exclusive from G911. They have just upgraded their affiliate software so everything is back on track.
