So I would consider that another couple of negatives in the value.

Another one I would say is going with income. Where is the income coming from. Is it a special angle the site has? Does it come from $4k advertizing for $3k income? Is most of it coming directly from SE hits? I dont know how anyone can put a value on a site using alexa, PR or past income as an indication. All 3 can be easily manipulated

I don't even think the site is worth remotely close to what is mentioned here.
Rakeback advertisers spend big $$ everyone knows that.
But anyone with 1/2 a brain would be better off purchasing one of the 500+ failing rakeback sites running now for cheap and then convertit into a directory and spend money on marketing it rather than buying this site here.

But I agree sites worth what someone will pay for it - just IMO Anyone spending $10K on that site would be nuts.

BTW though rakeback advertisers do spend crazy cash - Not to long ago I bought a site for $1K and then sold a 6 month ad for $1500 on it the very day after the site was transfered to me.

In response to "The Dean", Willian Franceshine, also known as "Degen" in many poker forums, was the former owner of RakeReport.net

In his time as owner he:

-lied to his advertisers about traffic figures

-inflated bid amounts when receiving an inquiry to encourage higher bids

-made special arrangements with some advertisers to place them in the top slot for multiple months at a fixed price (despite claiming that all the front-page listings were done only via a monthly bidding process)

-claimed his site was an "unbiased" rakeback directory, yet was a rakeback affiliate himself, operating RakeAid.com and consistantly placing his listing in the top spots that competed against his advertisers who believed they were involved in a fair bidding process


In addition, he also attempted to sell his RakeAid.com site recently, asking for $400,000, claiming it had "1500 accounts". While there were "1500 accounts" signed up with his RakeAid rakeback site, only around 200-300 of them were actively producing MGR.

And has also sent myself and my wife emails threatening violence and rape (I still have the emails to prove it)

You never addressed the fact that you stole my website. I could call your wife fat and ugly, she is, but that has nothing to do with the fact that you stole my website. Neither does the way I ran it, any of my other sites or how I tie my shoes.

You are a liar and a thief and are currently making money off of something that does not belong to you. Anybody considering purchasing the site would have to be out of mind....both because you are shady and because I am going to get it back
