Making new home page, what to add?

Hi, i am making a new home page and i have got a brain cramp, i had great ideas but now i cant think of anything to add.

What could i add to my home page, any ideas will be helpfull. What good interesting content should i have on my site and what type of sections should i have.

Any and all ideas will help.

Get rid of some of the banners it looks like a farm. Add content , write some articles , some poker news , some player reviews .

Talk about your poker experiences , go to a casino , sit at a low limit table and talk to other players about what they would like to see on a poker site.

i was thinking a bonus section a stratagy section, what else can i add?

Think of things you would like to see on your site or something that would draw your attention

You can write about upcoming events such as WSOP, who has the most elaborate packages, the largest number of freerolls, etc.

Articles pertaining to a game that you seen somewhere on tv, net, or if you are fortunate enough, possibly live.

Room reviews, bonuses, player information, a game you watched at one of the rooms with the highrollers playing and the outcome., possibly articles geared to beginners who play freerolls, it's pretty much endless.

I would start with things that apeal to you when you search for "poker" things online and go from there.

Take a look at all the successful poker sites and model yours after theirs. This doesn't mean copy it, but you can take ideas from them all and make a great site.

I think my good freind gooder is referring to the "must have"parts of any standard basic poker portal. I will name some, others can add if they like:

how to play
site reviews
poker news
poker articles
bonuses

those arnt all mandatory and there are countless more but i would get the basics done and just start adding a page here and a page there. Whatever you do, dont think of a 1000 ideas and make the links and buttons like i did....you'l get stuck with a halfway done site for months! lol....it's soo easy to think of great articles and stuff like that...the hard part is writing them!
