Default click per pay prices

If you are offering affiliates a pay per click rate for traffic to your site, what is the floor level of offers so that you don't get ridiculed for being cheap?

1 cent? 5? 10?

Yes, I know it "depends."

Now, could you give me some examples please?

Are you sure you want to do that? You could go as little as .5 cents so they get 1 cent for every 2 clicks. Sounds cheap but it really depends.

This is asking for people to rip you off though. if you go with 10cents and get 5 affiliates to do this and 3 affiliates decide to rip you off with click bots and they show you 10,000 unique hits in a day. not real of course but how do you know that? then you are out $3000 for fake traffic.

Default ceilings?

Don't people put ceilings on these details, like up to $500 or something?

There's an affiliate site that claims to have fraud protection in place.

As a purchaser of traffic you can pretty much tell exactly what the traffic is going to be worth. It's all about working with each other to maximize the potential for both. You as a seller should know exactly what your traffic is worth anyways. There's no point in trying to rip off the buyer because they'll never come back after the first month.

I prefer, when I buy traffic, not to pay pay-per click but rather go month to month. Each month we re-evaluate things with the sellers so things are fair for the both of us. One month I might pay $2k for an ad and the next month much less. The hard part is when you have multiple ads running to the same page.....it's hard to tell who's really converting.

I think this is kind of what you were asking in the question?

Doing it through a site can help. like Adbrite or whatever helps out. it can cut down on the frouad. Figure out not what it's worth for them but what;s it;s worth for you.

What is one visitor to you site worth? Figure out how much you convert and do the math.

If you convert 1% of all visitors then figure out how doing this will make you money. if you can get 1000 visitors for 10cents a piece and are certen you can convert 1%. Then figure it out. You are basically saying that I can spend $100 and get 10 conversions for whatever, a $100 CPA. So if you feel you could get 1% you could o ver anywhere from 10-90 cents per click and still make a profit, beit a small one at 90cents.

It also deoends on how that person got to your site for conversions. A player that got to your site becuase the searched Google for "Party Poker Bonus Code" is more likely to convert than a player that clicks a link on an affiliate site that says "Party Poker Bonus code" The searcher want the code right now because they are signing up and need a code. The other is just curious about where this link well bring them.

Proper keywords are important if you are going to do PPC. If you are selling an Ebook, or a product it is a little easier than trying to get someone to deposit at a poker room that otherwise was just reading an article on another site.

back in the day when we could get PPC with Google for adwords and they did not block gambling ads, I was getting about 120 CPA players at party a month. It cost be about $3 per click too if I wanted to be right up on top. So I was getting about 1000 clicks for $3000 and then getting $12,000 in return. for about an $8,000 profit. then i switched up the poker room with less competion and was #1 for about .75 a click and was still getting close to 1000 cliscks a month and about 300 RMP's. That was much better. Now this only lasted a few months and then i was booted out of Adwords, but non the less it was great to learn that keywords are the key. no pun intended.... Even with Paisd ads on Google i was only converting 10% and that was for exact keywords regarding bonus codes.
