 Answers to some questions....
First let me start by saying how excited I am today. This affiliate network has been in works for several months and it is great to see it coming to fruition. The synergy between the PAW team and the PokerNews team as well as everyone involved in this project has been a dyamic and amazing thing to watch.
As I stated yesterday, the poker affiliate industry is undergoing some big changes and this will by far be one of them. The beauty of this "network" however is that it is a win/win for everyone involved including the card rooms.
Now to answer some of the most common questions:
1. Can you promote through one of our trackers if you already have an affiliate account?
Yes you can. You are not signing up a new or duplicate affiliate account at any of these rooms, instead you are partnering with our network. You can continue to promote your own trackers or ours. Keep in mind though to get our exclusive CPA, freeroll, or network benefits, your players must arrive through one of our trackers.
Of course many of you are already affiliates of some of these rooms, but are you really promoting them? Many are not, and this is why it is a win/win for the affiliate and the card room. You win with all the benefits of our network and they win because they know affiliates are incentivised to promote them. Furthermore once we have 10 rooms on the network, wouldn't you be more open to adding a new room to your portfolio that is also on the same backend where you can simply get your trackers, banners, and one monthly payment?
2. Why the bonus code field?
For rooms that allow us multiple bonus codes, we can tie that code to you just like we do trackers. More than likely though for bonus codes will need to be requested personally. Right now we have a large batch of trackers at each room waiting to be assigned.....we do not have this with bonus codes.
3. With the PAW Integrated Affiliate Network have MGR programs?
Yes this is in the plans as we know MGR is very important to many affiliates. For launch however it was easier logistically to come out with just CPA. But yes, our coders are working on implementing this.
4. Where can I get Marketing Tools?
Our goal is to add a marketing section to the backend for each room on the network where you can download the latest banners. Obviously this is not there yet, but in the interim just email and we will shoot you over whatever you need.
5. What other rooms will be joining the network?
Hopefully all of them! As the network grows and we integrate all of your stats, payments, and marketing tools into one easy to use interface, it would make sense that you would want to promote rooms on our network versus dealing with 10 different places, right. (Imagine checking your stats for 30 rooms with one click....wow)
Traditionally the PAW business model has been to charge a fixed advertising rate to poker rooms for exposure as "sponsored programs", however in the future we feel this is a more win/win solution for not only the card rooms but also our loyal members.
