Default How can you check who signed up/converted?

Are there rooms that will let you know whether a list of usernames opened up an account? and whether you are the affiliate of record? and whether they converted?

I am trying to figure out how PokerSourceOnline does their deals?
How do they verify with PartyPoker that people have indeed opened accounts and played the proper hand requirements?

Is that unique to Party, or will other rooms give you that kind of information?

Party does not readily make this info available to all affiliates, nor do most rooms. However when you can provide the amount of sign-ups and liquidity that many of the biggest sites in the industry do, you can negotiate many unique terms.

Ok, everything seems to have gone in the dumps. Up to 212 total signups for the month with only 20 deposits. We're starting to lose money fast on this site through Google ppc. Anyone here do any good with ppc, any tips on keeping it profitable?

I generally get 1 in 4 deposits to play money, although this has dropped a little since the US problems.

Is it direct adds or to a website?

I dont know your budget but you can expect more to convert

They're comming from our website pokertipsfromthepros.com. We're running in a 9-10% conversion ratio for the month which has us running a negative compared to money spent in marketing. We've even gone to offering a $10 extra promotion to try and get the conversion back up without much luck. We were figuring on a minimum 20% conversion ratio to come out ahead of what we're spending, 15% would probably break us about even.

We've been running both regular google search and content network ads as far as the ppc goes, I've knocked the content network ads down to 5 cents per click due to the large number of clicks with very little results.

I would definitely cut the content network out if your seeing poor results. In my own personal experience I have found the content network to convert between 0% and 1% on gambling related content. Also try to target specific regions or countries that are showing some good growth in online gaming. Try to stay away from countries that are known to produce fradulent clicks. Maybe try rewriting some of your ads. Just my two cents.

I've cut the countries down to only a handfull of countries such as UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, Sweden, ect. but think I'll continue the content network ads running to see how they do with only these countries while keeping it a 5 cents/click.

I go in periodically and do a player search to see who's playing out of the recent sign ups and have noticed quite a few in the play money games. What kind of conversion do you see out of these guys that start out in the play money games? What's the average length of time you guys see from the date of account creation to 1st deposit date?

I've noticed that all of the deposits we've seen so far have come either the same day or the next day, should we expect to see some more of these deposit down the road?

I am not sure what kind of marketing you are doing, but I would suggest where ever your affiliate links are located at, to give them visitor options and instructions to deposit. Most players now have no idea where to start...

from a personal point of view I find too many distractions on the page taking focus away from the poker adds.

Maybe add a newsletter.

Yes, I find play money sign-ups convert later. Maybe some at the end of the month, w/ends, etc
