Default OFFICIAL "CHANGE YOUR SITE TO TARGET FOREIGN MARKETS" Idea Thread

Alright,

Let's get back to work and make some changes.

Let's work as a team to compile ideas so that we can take advantage of foreign markets and make necessary changes to do that.

Post away.

I think we need to start with rooms that are going to still accept US players. Anyone got any additions to the ones I know now:

Absolute
Poker.com
Mansion
Full Tilt

Where can we get our sites translated and updated when we add new pages to different languages?

I have read that Italy is planning on regulating the industry so that seems like a pretty good market to go after in my opinion.

Any others have thoughts on new markets or site translations?

I just checked my email and saw that poker.com has released some great new banners to target US players. Plus for existing affiliates they are offering 50% rev share for October.

Saw some of the banners...great PROACTIVE move by poker.com...it is nice to see PROGRESS instead of slipping to the dark ages.

Where did you hear/see the 50% commission thing?

I think the 50% commission thing is for the affiliate tournament this month. It is a prize for knocking out certain AM's. Not available to everyone for the month.

interesting thing is you can likely do well promoting companies in Europe that take US players since that is where the Euros will want to play. IMO Absolute and Bodog would be the clear winners there. FTP is already fairly strong in Europe.
