That is an awesome idea! I just love this forum.

I just recieved my cards in the mail yesterday, so I think I'll be heading downtown to the local bookstores now to check out the new poker books.

at the casino i used to play poker at, this player told me he used to leave fliers on the windshields of the cars in the parking lot and he would get a few RMP's per month.

We have a casino here where I live, Victoria BC Canada, that doesn't even have poker. They had two poker tables when the casino opened a few years ago, but they replaced them with slots, idiots.

I think placing fliers on cars in the parking lot just might work in a town with lot's of gamblers, but no poker tables.

To capitalize even further on this idea I am looking into having custom bookmarks made with my local websites url on it and some cool poker stuff, chips, cash, etc.

I think this is even better because hopefully if people are readers they will continue using the bookmark for months to come.

Bookmarks are an excellent idea.

I'm designing my own right now with some printing software I have.

I'll keep you posted on how this experiment turns out.

Every copy of "Killer Poker Online" by John Vorhaus in my home town will have one of my bookmarks in it by the end of next week

Where is your hometown? I Have tons of bookstores in my area. I can get a local kid to do this for me for 20 bucks. This campaign alone has made this forum one of the best forums online.

My home town is Victoria, BC Canada.

Population about 300,000 plenty of bookstores for me to hit.

Vancouver BC and Seattle Wash. are just a ferry ride away so I'll be busy handing out all of my my business cards, fliers and bookmarks.

I've thought of paying a local kid to do this for me, but this is now my full-time job and I need to get away from the computer for awhile

Road trips can be a lot of fun.
