Press Releases? Anybody done them? - Page 2

It sure would be nice to read a thread without that ass hijacking it and causing it to go off topic.....

Anyways... I just did a press release on PRweb... I'll be posting the results once they are in.

I'm really interested in hearing about the results from PRweb, I was considering using it not too long ago but decided against it because I didn't have that much money at the time. So if it works well I would give it a try myself.

I don't think I would bother much with the free press releases though, I wouldn't have thought that they would give much exposure at all.

How much did you pay 27o?

Press releases will usually stay in the G or Y! indexes for a long time, sometimes a few years so even though you only got 40 clicks this week it may be well worth it if it sticks.

I will have some time off from work starting tomorrow until January 1st. That means that I will be able to do some serious research into this subject, and defenitelly will keep y'all updated.

Perhaps LadyHoldem can give us some statistical info, as she has experience?

Cheers,

Giorgio

Unfortunately, I don't really get stats as I send the releases to the purchasers for submission. I usually get.. Hey this is great.. or hey can you tweak this part..

Some of my clients, moreso the ones I have on messenger programs tell me neat things like HEY!! There's x amount of ppl on my site right now.. Or OMG Look I'm #1 in google news, but nothing that I've documented, and I'm sure there are folks it doesn't work as well for, people just don't come forward and say.. OMG Look my results are ordinary! ....

Great article! God I love PAW. Articles like this one make you think about the entire picture, lessons to keep in mind in everything we do.

Thanks John!
