The 'F' Word

I know most of you are going to think I'm nuts.. but is the "F" word apearing here more than usual lately?

There was a thread to do with me the other day that I thought was really neat!!! I wanted to show my kids, but before I got the chance, the 'F' word popped up in the thread.

I notice it often, because when I'm at PAW I find myself hiding the screen as though I was looking at Porn, my kids can read truth be told, I'm no innocent, and have typed my share of swearing into PAW posts.. but with any luck, the kids will never find out

Soooooo .. I just wanted to bring it up, so that maybe a couple ppl will think of my kiddies wandering around behind me the next time they're about to type out foul language.. and every now n then refrain?

Everyone should use substitute the "F" word with my personal recommendation:

"EFFEN" -- lol. It's short, simple, and really makes me feel as though I'm going for the gold when I actually say the ACTUAL "F" bomb.

Take my advice -- and try it out.

It's effen amazing. LadyH4Life (lol)....good post, and one that a lot of members with kids and/or co-workers at the office can relate with I think.

I don't think kids should be looking at gambling related websites. I think if people want to use the F-Word here and there, there isn't a problem as long as they aren't attacking anyone.

After all.... swearing at work can reduce stress.

I'm actually quite surprised - out of 11,991 threads and 68,840 posts....we only have(unless I searched wrong) 49 instances of f---, and 31 instances of f---ing. I would've expected a lot more than that.

I understand where you are coming from Lady - I have a 9 year old whos eyes wander but she is not allowed to read any of these boards and knows that. She makes attempts to but I dont allow her. I think its no different than screening what they watch on tv or surf the net...

On another note those two posts were completely irrelevant to the topic and rarely happen in most cases

I am not one for censorship, but if the group wants we can have the F word changed automatically to fu**or something like that anytime it is written.

To me it makes no difference. As you can imagine, it takes a great deal to offend me.

I agree, no censorship. The f word hardly ever shows up.

With that said, I had to delete what I first wrote. I really wanted to lighten the mood and write

"We should definitely censor this fu**ing site" but without the **
