Normally I am not big about pimping actual products on PAW, but this is an exception. Dan and Bryan have released a pretty nice wordpress template solution for affiliates.

When I look at some of the put together html sites out there that many new affiliates start out in the business with, I definitely can see that there is a need in the market for a quality CMS solution. Plus wordpress is so easy to customize and has multiple plugins. Not to mention, WP is very SEO friendly.

I talked these guys into giving PAW members a 20% discount as well. So if you do buy one of these you must do 2 things. Buy from this page as well as use the proper bonus code..... PAW20. This is the only way to get the 20% discount. Here are the additional details.

Is this based off the Revolution News theme? Looks similar.

If so, that's a great theme, so everyone can expect that this one is too.

Our themes are actually created by the same person who created the Revolution News theme. However, we are the ones officially promoting these themes. We've had a lot of interest so far and already a couple sales. We're hoping to get some positive feedback on the themes very soon!

Kudos to Dan and Brian for developing a great template for poker affiliates. This is such a better solution than messing around with raw html or frontpage....especially for the newbies in the business.

And for full disclosure, PAW is an affiliate with them. ( I know affiliates hate following affiliate links)......but this is the only way you are going to get the 20% discount.

If you guys are interested in promoting the actual templates to your subs, I will twist Dan & Brian's arms even more and see if we can get them on the PAW Network and get a solid deal.

Nice job guys, this is a great CMS solution for poker affiliates.

Just to clear a few things up too... I wanted to say that the difference in themes is this.

The blog is obviously just a blog style meaning it has no homepage, also no other special pages that were created for running a full blown website. It still looks the same and has the same feel, just no homepage or other special pages.

For that there is the "Personal Package". This package is for running a full blown website using Wordpress as the CMS. It has the pre-made homepage along with all the other special pre-made pages. All you have to do is customize it to your liking. This theme package can be used to make as many websites as you personally own and you can feel free to remove the credits in the footer.

The "Developers Package" is the same theme as the personal package, but allows you to use the theme to make sites for others if you're a designer or website developer. Basically it allows you to use it to create sites for clients. And again you can remove the credits in the footer.

We do monitor this so please choose the appropriate package.

Oh, I also wanted to point something out about Wordpress in general. A lot of you guys may struggle with SEO concepts, but Wordpress is all auto generated, minimizing problems that a typical HTML template may have such as:

Broken Links
Non-compliant code
.css file issues
SEO issues

Wordpress is great for SEO. For some reason, Google loves Wordpress generated sites, particularly because of the reasons that I listed above. You can also create excellent permalinks with Wordpress. You'll see some sites that use a structure like xhttp://SITE.com/p=?139284 while you can make it so all your wordpress pages are like this xhttp://SITE.com/keyword-keyword-keyword/ which is much better.

I use revolution and revolution news on 3 of my non-poker sites and have to say that the guy that designed these themes really knew what he was doing.

Talking about seo, all of the tags (h1, etc) on this theme are place in their proper positions. Plus, he really pushes the envelope on what wordpress is capable of. These are not crappy free themes, they are very well coded and very easy to customize.
