Recently ran across a new se called sproose.com. It looks pretty good. I wouldn't be surprised if it gives google a run for its money soon.

- Unique results
- Can delete spam
- Voting
- Commenting
- Fast

The results are pretty crap IMO. Its a good concept and I think it has lots of potential, but I don't think google has anything to worry about (at least for 5 years or so). If they feel threatened they will probably just buy them out.

I agree, Google is pretty much alone at the top. Cool idea though..

When you search for "poker affiliate world" PAW is only 2nd after bravenet(!).. Is that only because they have 1 vote?

I don't know but i think the idea of users voting for the site and adding to its value is a pretty good idea. How it would be controlled, i dunno.

edit: pretty sure its going to be pretty popular. like a google-digg hybrid. As more and more people get on, it would be harder to manipulate search results.
