Default Selling Worldseriesfreeroll.net

Domain : www.worldseriesfreeroll.net - Godaddy.

Stats :
www.worldseriesfreeroll.net/April.gif - Daily hits in April (so far!)
www.worldseriesfreeroll.net/countries.gif - Location
www.worldseriesfreeroll.net/Day-Unique.gif - Daily Hits
www.worldseriesfreeroll.net/Searchstats.gif - Search engine stats.
www.worldseriesfreeroll.net/searchterms.gif - Search engine Terms.

I am selling this purely because i don't have the money to advertise the site, im sure with advertisement before the WSOP this could do very well. All of the sites content was written by me.

Powered by JOOMLA! which makes it very easy to edit content. The blog + forum are included, and i will provide 6 months hosting for free if required.

I have only recently been tracking the stats using Awstats, before i used statscounter, but had 100 visit limit on my free account, so thats why there isn't anything in terms of March stats. Traffic has recently began to rise, through a little bit of advertising.

I have made no money with the site.

The site design cost me $250, which i then decided to integrate to joomla! for an additional $120. I have a professional looking banner made which i will also include in the sale.

Starting Bid : $300
Min Increment : $10

End date : 48 hours.

P.S i will assist with transfer as much as possible.

Has Harrah's contacted you regarding the domain names or content?

I might be interested in the site.

I'm not sure you have any issues with the domain name but Harra's pretty much trademarked every term related to anything that has to do with poker at this point.

please let me know if you have had any contact with harrah's

I have heard, if the domain was "wsopfreeroll.net" I'd be in trouble, but because i don't use the term "wsop" I'm fine.

I haven't had any trouble with it, and i've seen a few live sites using wsop and they seem fine. I had the chance at a domain with wsop in it, but decided against it, although it would have been better.

Thanks,
If you don't mind letting me know the following:
  • Where is it hosted?
  • Where is it Registered?
  • Who made the Joomla Template? Do you have full rights to it?
  • Well this template ever be used again on another site or currently being used on any other site?
  • how many actual members do you have?
  • How will you hold the auction?
In regards to the auction:
  • Where else is this sale posted?
  • Are you allowing private bids?
  • Well this be at an auction site like sitepoint or dp?

Just curious becuae I won't do private bidding auctions on a forum.

Thanks

1. The site is hosted through a friend of mine, and has always loaded fast.
2. The domain is registered at godaddy.
3. I ran a contest at digital point, for $125. A design very much like this was entered, then i privately contacted the maker, he made adjustments and sold the unique template too me, with FULL RIGHTS. The site was coded by somebody at digital point, i believe i paid $120.
4. This is the only site this template is used on, and always will be.
5. Actual members 17
6. I am hoping to sell this site, a.s.a.p as the wsop grows nearer, the winner will make more money if the transfer is done a.s.a.p.
7. The auction bidding starts at $300. With minimum $10 increments. I will not name the bidder if a bid is made via PM. But will post the bid here.
8. The sale is posted at digital point, although i don't expect a bid there, as there are much more poker affiliates here, and they wouldn't understand the value IMO.
9. Private bids are allowed.
10. I am hoping for a quick sale, so i don't think i will post this at sitepoint, unless i don't receive many bids here.

Is that enough information? Any more questions please ask

Like I said I am interested in the site.

However, I prefer to not make things public unless you hold a real auction.

I will bid the min bid $300 but reserve the right to pull any bid I make in the event any other bid comes from a private bid or an unknown poster. or if we can't work out payment options or transfer.

What payment options are you offering? Well you do escrow.com and pay the fees?

Thanks

What is escrow i have heard of it, but never knew what it was.

I can accept paypal or stars, or i could open a moneybrookers.

I will only accept paypal from reputable members, as i have had trouble with chargeback etc.

Escrow basically is a middleman. The buyer would put the money in escrow and they would let you know they have the money. Then you would transfer the site and once the buyer says they got it they release the funds to the seller

I meant to say in the last post that I want it public if it's not at an auction site. i understand some people, espeacilly here, would like to remain private. i have no problem with that but I just want you to understand I don't take all private bids serious.

Do you have a BIN for the site?

To be honest i have no clue what the site is worth in terms of a bin.

I simply started at $300 because thats roughly what money i invested into the site. If you would prefer this to run on an actual auction site, I'm more then happy to do that. But i thought the only people who would bid would be people from either here or cap, as there the people who know what a "freeroll" is and understand the WSOP, etc.

It's your auction. Do as you please. You would be suprised at the amount of people that want poker sites outside the US though. Poker sites at sitepoint do very well in thier auctions section.
