Word Press Blog Internal Linking

[SmackDog]

I'm wondering how I get my linking structure to look better. As it is right now the linking structure between pages and posts looks like this:

pokersatellitecenter.com/?page_id=23

I would like it to look like:

pokersatellitecenter.com/bodog-poker-review

Anyone know how I fix this problem? I tried making some changes in the admin area under the permalinks section, but when I did and went back to check to make sure it all worked, it gave me a 404 page not found error.

thanks

If you make changes in to the permalink structure, you effectively change the address fot the post which is why you get the 404.

To update to thenew address go back and edit each post and save or if you have lots of posts you'll need to do it in .htaccess so any links coming in on the old address will redirect.

To get the address you want use :
/%postname%/
or for even better SEO I'd use
/%category%/%postname%/
