hi all

Ive just finished my site - well v1.0 anyway - there is still plenty to do on content etc but it's been live for about 10 days now

I've got some traffic - forums are very quiet so I have got forumlauch posting on there for me for a while

I've sent out a lauch press release a couple of days ago and plan to submit a couple of articles to a content syndicator thingy

Not doing too well on the search engine side at the moment - any suggestions

And my main problem now - is that I've set up a private tournament at UltimateBet on the 6th November but yet to get anyone commit to playing in it - I dont want to look an ass and it fall flat on its face as this is the first one Ive done -

Was this a bad plan given my site hasnt been up very long ? What should I do now ?

Hi, your site looks really good.

Maybe you should have worked more on your forum community before setting up a tournament.

I guess it wasn't the best plan to launch straight in with a tournie - it all seems to be a bit chicken and egg - as no-one will join a quiet forum / or enter tournies until there is some history -

im going to put some of my articles out for general use - as I hear this is a good way to generate traffic - the press release seemed to have some effect but I cant be sending them out ever couple of days

are there any places to post which promotes tournies at sites ? maybe so I can save face and get 25 players

on the name - yep it is - bit like french connection with FCUK - if you see it you see it

Are you adding anything to the tournament? Why would some one play? What's the draw for someone you don't know to sign-up for this tournament?

Maybe those questions will help you answer why no one is playing the tournament.
