N00b Question

Hi, i'm a noob with a poker blog, and I have a question...

I see people giving bonus codes for example for the chan poker 100% max 1000$ bonus, and the same for the 100% max 600$ at fulltilt.

Isn't it enough with the referal link?

I just wan't to make sure that if someone clicks on my banners, they will get the bonus and I will not get flamed because I didn't give a code.

There are two different ways to go in order to get a player tracked under you. Either by a refferal link or by a bonus code.

The tricky thing about using only a refferal link is that links are using cookies. So if a player visits another affiliate site before your site and clicks on a link a cookie file will be stored on his computer. 2 hours later when he gets to your site and decides to sign up though your link he still might be tracked under the previous site because of the cookie in his computer.

Usually bonus codes overrides referral links. Use both to be on the safe side.

In the case I affiliated to a site using PAW my code would be the same as my tracker code?

With Sunpoker, the affiliate who initiates the player download, gets credit for the player.

No the code is not the same as your tracker code in the url. You can request codes by emailing . Make sure to provide some alternative codes if the code you requested is already in use.

yeah player should automatically get bonus, unless you have a specific bonus "bonus code".
