BETA launch of TournamentAgent.com

Hello PAW Members

After a couple of hard working weeks we would now like to announce the BETA of Tournament Agent, our new tournament listing site.

It would be great to get some constructive feedback and comments. Check it out and let us know what you think!

Our main priority for this BETA was to get the feed service up and running, feel free to try it (your own affiliate links, your own style, absolutely free to use). At the moment we have 5 different rooms in our system but will continue to import 10-15 more the following weeks.

Nice site except for the old people in the header, also the color scheme is a bit dull. Great idea though for all the different types of tourney feeds people should really be able to use this

If everything works great I will use it..the major tournament feed I know of sucks and usually doesnt work.

I would use textlinks in the menu instead of pictures. It's better for the SEO.

Also, I would set up a contact form instead of a "mailto" function. Looks more professional and it's easy to set up.

Are you planning to launch the feed in other languages as well? If not maybe you could make the php headers customizable so that users from different countries can set up the feed in their own language.

i've tested it, it's normal i did'nt received email confirmation with login link, login en password ?
i test lot of webmaster tools, without this email, i think i will forget yours

jcap1p: We learned to love "the old people", give them some time

mfosouto: We have a couple of different approaches to earn money from this, but the feed will stay free. Even though you can use you own affiliate links in the feed, ours are used by default. We see a lot to gain by getting our site out there and letting people know about TournamentAgent.com. We have a lot of ideas for new features for and around poker tournaments, this is just the first step.

NewPokerGirl: Glad to hear that!

bahh: A backlink is included in the feed, hence you don't need to include one on your own page. Thanks for the SEO tip, will look in to that! A contact form will be created as soon as possible. Multiple languages will be supported later on.
