Hey Dan,

I visit highstakesreport almost every day because I play at FullTilt and it is a very interesting site to see how the guys at the high stakes are doing.

The new design is awesome. The topics are in the right place and it is very user friendly. I think you could monetize it better though by giving your traffic a reason to sign up through one of your trackers.

Just thinking outside the box here. What if you hosted a private MTT and promoted it on the site a month prior and had a bounty on one one of the higher stakes guys. Obviously you would have to get one to play in the MTT, but even if you have to pay for it, that my be +EV.

This would give people a good reason to sign up at a new site. I know you get a shit load of traffic now. But give them a reason to sign up through the tracker. I bet your conversions will double.

I would increase the size of your logo. The banner IMO takes over. I think you rlogo shold be what people will remember.

Also I find the text in teh content to be small but that could be my monitor.

View all poker videos » on your main page to the right does not look good in IE7. You need a "<br>" after the video.

Okay, thanks for the very good perspectives! Jeremy, I'm definitely going to do just what you said about the MTTs. Actually, I'm going to do that just as soon as finish some other projects. You gave a great idea, and I'm going to make it even bigger. Not only will I push that type of promo on High Stakes Report, but across the entire network, giving it huge exposure and warranting any payment to well known pros.

I've gone ahead and made some changes:

1. Added <br> under the poker video to space it out.
2. Enlarged the logo (lost the mirror effect, but oh well). Is this better?
3. Changed the bottom middle poker rooms animated gif to a nicer one.
4. Shortened and moved the search box to the right. Also added search icon in search box.
5. Added 1px borders around navigation bars
6. Changed black borders on bottom left and bottom right photos to light gray.
7. Slightly lightened maroon navigation bars.
8. Changed hotels ad to Bodog ad.

I'm looking for anything else, even the slightest imperfection. I feel like something is "missing" from the navigation still, graphics wise. I think I need to go with something more like what pokerroom.com has for their navigation bar.

What are your guy's thoughts?

Listen, wtf does that have to with anything? And why do you suddenly decide to be an asshole? I said 95% because a designer helped with stupid little things like moving divs around so they look perfect, and you have to bring that shit up?

The banner looks much better at that size. Can I make a suggestion in regards to the navigation. This is just my opinon but the second line looks unbalanced with the first. With it being centered and the other overlapping it it feels like my eyes cant concentrate. What about adding another thing to the end for a newsletter that way all the links will be even. Just an idea!
