Bonus Code Question

The two most popular ways to get referrals are through links w/ your affiliate ID's and the use of your personally assigned bonus codes.

Here is what I'm wondering.

• If someone bypasses your affiliate link and goes straight to the site and uses your bonus code do you get credit?
• If someone clicks on a link or banner from a different affiliate but uses your bonus code, who gets the credit?

How exactly does this work in situations like this?

1. You should get credit for the player
2. I believe that depends on the cardroom and you should ask your affiliate managers or even test it yourself. In my opinion you should try to get a player to use your affiliate link + bonus code if you can.

Yea all sites are different. Party would overwrite the link and use the bonus code. it worked great for spammers but the legit sites often got screwed.

When you have little traffic this seems important but once you are sending 100's of players a month it wont matter as much.
