bonus code question

At Party Poker, do the sign up bonus codes we are given also work as deposit bonus codes? If someone is already signed up, but hasn't yet deposited, would I get credit if they use my bonus code when depositing?

No I don't think they do. If someone is already signed up they will still be tracked back to whatever (if any) affiliate initially signed them up. Although I could be wrong. B)

I can't imagine if I sign up someone today and they play all week for fun and next week they make a deposit with your bonus code that you would get the credit.

A sign up bonus code is to encourage players to sign up and make their initial deposit, whereas a deposit bonus code is to encourage existing real money players to make additional deposits. Unlike sign up bonus codes, the deposit bonus codes are entered on the deposit screen of the Cashier, not the Open Account screen. Generally deposit bonus codes are only used internally by PartyPoker.com to send to existing players to stimulate deposits and increase actions at the tables.

At the point they signed up, they either are credited to you, someone else or to nobody, and that is the way it goes, there is no way to go back and change it. If they use your bonus code in the deposit code area of the cashier, nothing will happen. (RichardB already pointed that out)

What happened to the whole, "after 90 days if a player whos hasnt deposited uses a bonus code they will be traccked to the new affiliate" "problem" that was discussed a while back...Might have been at CAP.
So what happens if someone dowloads PP from a link on my site ( or from a cd i created)and then uses a sign-up code from another affiliate, do i lose them?

That is a good question and one I have pondered, but since my affiliate manager at party never responds to my emails, i too don't have an answer. If yours is nice enough to respond...why don't you ask them?

Alright, lets try this...
Lets create a pointed email asking all the questions we want answered, we will tweak it until we think it is right and then each send it to our affiliate managers and see what answers we get back.

To whom it may concern..
There are a group of dedicated affiliates at a forum called Partyriches.com that have some questions and or concerns. There has been much speculation as to the answers, but would like clarification form an authority on the following...

A. At Party Poker, do the sign up bonus codes we are given also work as deposit bonus codes? If someone is already signed up, but hasn't yet deposited, would I get credit if they use my bonus code when depositing?

B.What happens if someone dowloads PP from a link on my site ( or from a cd i created)and then uses a sign-up code from another affiliate, do i lose them?

C. If after 90 days a player has not deposited, but then does using a code from another affiliate, what happens.

I had someone use my deposit code after already having the software at Full Tilt. These codes are made for offline marketing.... hence it doesnt matter if nobody sent them there on-line....as long as they use your code when they deposit. But I'm not really sure about Party..... and all the logistics of it...

Anyhow thats my 2 cents.
