Whew, Micon almost busted......on a flop of 832 Jamie Gold (one of the big stacks) moved all in and Micon called. Micon turned up 1010 and Gold turned up 22 (flopped a set).....K10 were the running cards and Micon caught up, putting him at 71,000 in chips and saving him from elimination.

Haha...don't know if anyone is keeping up with this at NWP or anywhere else but apparently Micon and Gold have been going at it all day. Gold has called the clock on Micon several times and Micon continues to wave his electronic Donkey sign at Gold throughout the day.

Might want to save that donkey thing if you are gonna go all-in with two outers.

Oh I agree completely.....he's going to look like a big ass if he keeps waving that thing and finally gets busted by another dominating hand like that.

So if you aren't keeping up, the main event has reached the money spots. The field is now down to around 800 people I believe. Micon is still sitting with about 70,000 chips in front of him. Aaron Bartley (GambleAB) is also still around with about 150,000 in chips....so they both made the money.

Congrats to Micon, hope to see him last a while longer...anyone have updates on Beanie?

Or Gareth (Gazman) If anyone comes across either of their chip counts, post them here.

Haven't seen updates on either Beanie or Gareth. It's down to around 650 people and the money is around $20,000 for busting right around now. Micon seems to still have around 70,000 chips. GambleAB picked up some nice pots and is up to around 250,000 chips.

I'm not sure what happened to Negreanu...he was doing real well and had well over 300,000 chips earlier but he's down to 65,000 or so. Allen Cunningham has been doing real well and I'd love to see him make a final table, he seems like a class act.

Can't seem to find Beanie or Micon on the list, but Negreanu is currently in 70th place with $95,000 and of all people Joseph Hachem is in 67th place with $230,000. What's with these defending champs doing so well the following year? Raymer 25th last year and now Hachem???

Micon started the day with about 92,000 chips and that's the last I heard of him and still found nothing on Beanie....GambleAB (Aaron Bartley) is still killing it and has 441,000 chips.

Annie Duke, to my suprise, is still alive and doing pretty well with 330,000 chips. Negreanu also picked up several pots and is back up to 150,000 chips.

Seems to be around 400 people left and the money bracket is around $30,000 for busting right now.
