Non-US web hosting

With the way things are going in the US (Washington making that gambling affiliate shut down his site) I no longer want to host my blogs on a US server. Can anyone recommend any good shared hosting services outside the US in countries with reliable internet that are friendlier to online gambling? Thanks!!!

Who are some of the main web hosting "big boys" as they say in Canada?

Obviously in the U.S. we have Godaddy, Register.com and a few others, so who are the equivalent type hosting companies in Canada?

Need to switch, but only want to do it to one of the largest hosting companies that have been around a while. Similar to Godaddy or Register here in the U.S.

It's kind of urgent for me as I just discovered something recently. I'm sure if you think long and hard you can figure it out.
