any1 every try out opt-in emails

i was wondering if any1 has emailed html mailers to millions using an opt-in emailing list provider, any problems or success stories, maybe some help?

hey, u might wanna build your own's opt in list instead.
Get your visitors to opt in to your newsletter. Send them tips and website updates periodically. This give them a good reason to come back to your site. If you treat your list right you can make plenty of money form it.

Most opt-in email companies out there are a scam. Basically all they do is harvest a million emails off the internet and then sell them to you. 99.9% of the time they are not opt-in.

They could care less if you spam the emails, they're making money. Think about this, if you truly had 1 million opt-in email addreses, would you sell them for $199? Hell No.

Email marketing is extremely effective, however I have found it is best to develop your own lists. I would take my own 10,000 emails addresses that I acquired over some random list of 1,000,000 all day long.

jeremy by devloping my own list you mean a newsletter right? Im guessing so but i thought id ask in case their was in fact some other way. thanks. i recently found out they were mostly fraud anyway after a pretty legitamently looking site has charged me and not activated my account, they also claim you can email 2.5 million people a day. for only 25 a month, thank god for being able to claim fraud on my credit card

Yea that's definatley fraud. There are several ways to develop an email list, a newsletter is one. But also by starting a forum, selling products on a website or Ebay, or even just by having a subscribe button on your website to subscribe to new products or of course a newsletter.
