Default A big thanks to EVERYONE at PAW

This really isn't said enough around here. There are a ton of people on this forum who have helped me out over the past two years with ideas and advice. Being 23, I really don't have many real life friends who are successful and motivated....and who can help push me with my businesses. You've all become those friends for me.

I literally knew nothing about business when I joined this forum, and had no clue that this could be a real business. The guys/gals in this forum are willing to help more often than any other place I've been to. We're all in the same industry and somehow we all get along and still help each other. It's puzzling....

Jeremy - I remember when I joined this forum and had some new ideas going through my head. I was always looking for advice from the big guys and they were here to help. I still vividly remember Jeremy sending me an email about how he was so impressed with how hard I was working, and that I had unlimited potential in this industry if I'd just keep going at it and I should never give up. You really have no idea how much that meant to me back then. I owe ya.

Randy - The invaluable SEO advice and content building advice from you is amazing. The fact that you keep everything white hat is pretty impressive too in this industry.

PPP - Your views and knowledge on search and the poker industry are deeper and more in depth than most people here realize. Your views get ragged on a lot because of your brashness, but I've realized you have a great eye for the big picture, while almost everyone else is thinking about what's happening right now. It's a good quality to have.

Hoursurf -
I haven't talked to ya for a while, but you really did turn the light on in my head when it came to link building. I think I've studied the link structure of your site over 100 times, and have dug through your backlinks to learn how you get such good rankings. It was a real eye opener for me, and you have my utmost respect as a great webmaster.

Beanie - Your business knowledge when it comes to customer service is beyond anything I even thought of before. I still remember when you recommending us to read Raving Fans and Customer Mania. I went out and bought both right away, and it opened me up to a whole new line of thinking when it came to business. Both of those books inspired me to start reading more business material, and it continues to pay off.

Nick - I always thought you were some old dude lol... I was a bit off on that. Your success so far is inspiring to say the least.

Brandon & Graham - I like the fact that I have some guys around here my age who I can "compete" with and bounce ideas off. I'm looking forward to boozing wit you guys at some upcoming CAP events...

Jonathan - The guy who is always commenting on my blog. It's a great feeling to finally have people appreciate what I'm writing. Your affiliate blog is seriously money Jon. I'm surprised PAW hasn't hired you to write for them yet. Keep it up man, you'll be on your own soon.

Kevin
- Without you, I wouldn't have any of my blogs running. Always there to help when I need it.

All other posters
- Keep it up. Everyone benefits so much from this community. This is our version of the mastermind group that Napoleon Hill talks about. You need successful people in your life to be successful.

Ill get off my soapbox now.

Justin, I will return the favor and congratulate you on your current and upcoming success (which is truly imminent).

Its great to have others in this industry to be able to learn and grow with. Being 23 myself, its really special the position we are in. We have been able to learn from the best, and have used their knowledge and guidance to create something special.

If you left the poker industry completely tomorrow, I know you would find success in what ever you did. You have the mind set, and work ethic that makes anything possible.

To think, we have been here for roughly two years, and the leaps and bounds our careers and lives have taken is something to be proud of. I can speak for most of us and say without paw, we would never have these opportunities that are now so reachable.

Cheers to PAW, and cheers to all of our members that make this place so incredibly special.

I really appreciate you saying kind things. What is interesting is that the things I have learned just somehow get filed away and I mostly forget that I have them in my bag. Every day I wake up I am on a journey, almost as if I know absolutely nothing. It is sort of weird.

I have to admit I was stumbling with AlwaysBluff, which was becoming a money pit for me but I had a vision and I wanted to see it through. Well that was 2 web designers ago. With the help of Randy and GregK I have become re-inspired. The long haul is just that and I am going on faith with a lot of this stuff but I think you guys will start to see my vision soon. I am already happy with what we have done up to this point but there are some big things coming.

I can really relate to what you are saying and it is admirable that a guy your age accepts advice. In all forms of sales it has been my pattern to seek out the people that do it better than me. Believe it or not, not many people do that.

That's a cool post Justin. I also concur that there are so many intelligent people here to learn from. Everybody brings different qualities and ideas to the table.

Way back in the days of PartyRiches, I envisioned this forum being the #1 resource for poker affiliates as well as a place for affiliates to meet others in the industry. To often industry message boards become a place where members just bitch and complain. I also remember the haters saying there is no way a message board filled with affiliates would be a place where people can learn from others. I mean, after all we are all eachother's competition.

Years later I am happy to see PAW is exactly what I envisioned.

Some of my greatest friendships in the world have been made because of this community. Likewise my success would be nothing without the business partners, mentors, friends, and overall intelligence I have gained from this community.

I learn something every day from reading these forums.

I'd like to thank everybody here as well. I never would have even discovered poker affiliating without this site, and I surely wouldn't be where I am today without the last two years I've spent on these boards.
