G911 content is something you step on after the dog has been out in the yard. It's amazing how they'll just shoot their mouth off in different directions without any of it making sense.

Whether true or not, that sure is what it looks like happened.... which if it didn't, that makes the article even dumber.

For a company that makes that much money, you'd think they could afford a real website and journalists who actually know what they're doing. They always have, and always will be a joke in the gambling industry.

They're a joke to us because we spend all day analyzing the gambling industry and know what's what.

To millions of normal people G911 is the gods honest truth.

Just like the National Enquirer, the most read newspaper in America.

And here in Canada.

Can I ask why programs allow them to do this than. See this is what I dont get. To me what they and others indirectly related to the same approach of marketing is nothing more than filth and smearing trash for anyone and everyone who will listen.

half of what they say is a so called "white lie" while the other half is plain stupidity. More or less the approach they take in running thier business to "me" is no different than the guy who spams everyone's forums, or the affiliate who goes against a companies T&C's and frauds them. Yes maybe they are all different circumstances but as far as I am concerned they all play the same game.

So how can a site like this just be allowed to trash whatever they want with no reprocussions for it and continue to wheel and deal their ass's off? I mean fine the AP thing was big ...no doubt there - but even takig away the abundance of alleged articles from that story, they are always reporting shit. Thats all it amounts to but it still is cause for concern or questions among others who like Dave said believe it to be the truth. I was one of them wayyyyyyyy back before I was enlightened

I mean honestly if those who fill thier pockets with cash would just stop doing it, they wouldnt be here. How would they be able to operate if they had no accounts to fund them. Most programs do not tolerate dishonest affiliates. Maybe they are not stealing from the company or directly spamming...but I am sure slander isn't looked upon nicely either.

In this case bad reporting is and can be rewarded with a bigger and better payoff

and yes I consider them to be dishonest, whether I am wrong or not in other's opinons...

No terms and conditions prohibit stupidity, which is mostly what they do. They are a gossip site pretending to be a news site. In other words, they are a poor quality site, which again isn't against terms and conditions. And the casinos/sportsbooks/cardrooms apparently don't mind getting the lowbrow traffic the site sends.

On the other hand, at this point I think they just haven't crossed the threshold of being really-really-really out of line in terms of misinformation and slander. They steal content which should be across the line, but unfortunately that isn't something the casinos/etc care about enough at this point.

Absolute Poker has a reputation for paying advertising venues and affiliates in a timely fashion.

I though this was funny when I read it considering all the issues affiliates have with them....including this one...lol

OMG, that's the most ridiculous article I've read in a long, long time. What cracks me up the most is that instead of interviewing an independent industry analyst or expert, they just asked questions to the guy sitting next to them.

Interviewer to dude next to him - "Hey dude, what do you think about this Absolute thing? (Dude, say "Absolute is fantastic")

Dude - "Absolute is fantastic!"

Interviewer to dude - Say Absolute is the safest, most wonderfullest, bestest thing to ever happen to a poker player - ever!

Dude - "Absolute is the safest, most wonderfullest, bestest thing to ever happen to a poker player - ever!

Interviewer- "Okay, now I'll go put this online and call it a 'real interview'. Oh my god that's so funny, these readers are idiots I tell you - idiots!"

The funny thing is that Absolute probably is the safest room out there right now, BUT that has nothing to with this type of crap 'reporting' when it's so obvious that all they're doing is saying all of this because they were paid to.

Absolute.....sleeze!
