Agreed, gambling 911 would have been all over the AP story if they hadn't been spooning each other the past few months, and I love how they quote each other in the office when writing their stories..hilarious.

But, on the other hand... they get a lot of attention on various boards when they write shit like this.

as always, just my two cents

Wow, I just posted about something similar. Their affiliate program has gone to hell. They are making a big mistake by not paying PokerListings.com - they are huge.

I thought they just screwed over small fish like me.

The Pokerlistings thing is just bullshit. AP won't pay them $450 a player so they throw a hissy fit.

Really? They want that much or are you exaggerating? I've heard that PokerListings.com are all about negotiating, but they don't seem to have a problem with anyone else besides AP and UB...and as a victim myself, I believe that Chipleader.com doesn't want to pay there affiliates what they owe them. It's very bad business.

The notice was up about Stars and Tilt too when they all lowered what they were willing to pay -- until they renogatiated a deal, then poof, the was notice gone. AP and chipleader may have a million problems, but this is no evidence of that.

Just out of curiosity PPP what would you say would be the value of an average player. To me $450 seems very unreasonable considering all those players who deposit and never return etc.

It's going off topic but... an average US player at pokerstars is not the same as an average non-us player at a small cardroom. And (more on the point above) an average US player was worth X before the UIGEA, and soon afterwards it was worth less than X, and now one is probably worth somewhere between the two numbers.
