Need help ASAP - PokerStars Refusing Transfer
Hey,
I just noticed I got this from PS, I made another withdrawal today before I noticed the email.
What could I say?
Quote:
Hello John,
After review of your latest cashout, it has come to our
attention that all of the funds that you cashed out came
directly from a transfer that you received on 10/20/2007.
We assure you that we are not implying any wrong doing, however, as
players who transfer funds to others normally do this so that the
person who receives the transfer(s) can play at the tables and not
simply receive a transfer and then immediately cash it out, we would
appreciate an explanation as to why you cashed out most of the funds
transferred to you.
It is standard procedure to require an explanation when this type of
situation occurs.
Once we receive your reply and this matter has been resolved, your
cashout will be processed as soon as possible. Thank you for your co-
operation.
Regards,
Raul

Forgot to say, this was money received from a few companies for advertising, so yes, they are right, but I haven't received the money sent and I will need a reason to get the 2 withdrawals sent..

PokerStars is a poker room not a free money transfer service so it's understandable why they would question this transaction. I'd just tell them that it is advertising money that pays for a website that heavily promotes their brand.

Can you get in touch with your AM and see if maybe they can help you work it out?

Seems like your best bet, ring them up, show them your site.
And it should be sorted out.

Yeah I totally understand what they are saying, I know they are 100% right to question what I am doing, they could be thinking its something related to money laundering.
I don't think Neteller merchants have fees for transfers though, do they?
I don't have an AM with PS, do they have personal AMs?
Thanks for the replies

I got the same response from PokerStars when I tryed to cashout my PAW earnings last month. I just replyed with that I am affiliated with PAW, which is also in partnership with PokerNews and that this is commission for promoting pokersites such as PS and others.
And that was it..... they cashed out my earnings the next day.
Hope it helped,
Cheers
