Just ran across a website and was wondering if this is really a good niche or just another shameless attempt at marketing? Either way pretty interesting and simple,....

Refering to Party: "This poker room has always in excess of 200 live players..."

If it was good marketing, it might have been updated in the past gajillion years.

I'm not sure it's a niche, although I'd agree that it's a legitimate keyword phrase to target.

I believe he's talking about promoting Texas Calculatem.

You can make money promoting Texas Calculatem, PokerTracker and other online poker software, they do have affiliate programs.

You could make descent money promoting them if you can expose a huge amount of potential buyers to your offer. Can you?

If you could you wouldn't be asking this question.

I don't mean to be as blunt as PPP, lol , but look for another niche if that's all you plan on promoting.

I promote PTracker and calculatem on my site and either the conversions are terrible or the affiliate program cheats. I have had 26 PTracker downloads and 0 buys. Total BS. How many poker players do you know who have tried it that didn't buy it.

I think promoting cheating is a losing proposition and I think being involved in it in any way is a bad reflection on how you think of your business.

I say this all the time, if you want a niche here it is, it is a winning one. Find out who your customers are and develop a personal relationship with them.
