Default Carbon Poker No longer Promoted at poker.com ?

Just checked out poker.com and noticed that titan poker is there main promoted site and has replaced cardbon pokers main spots.

But not only has it lost its main spots, there's no mention at all on the site about carbon poker....... this is kind of strange do ya think ?

anyone have any thoughts on this ?

I seen that yesterday. I went to download the software again so I could play in the affiliate game and its no where to be found. Had to search for poker.com review to find a banner.

I have a guess....they realized they could make alot more promoting FT and the others. If I had to choose between 100 SE visitors clicking a FT banner or 1000 SE visitors clicking a carbon banner...I would take the 100 on FT.

More or less sounds like the domain finally changed hands....at least that's what Mr. Whois says.

Whois remains the same, but likely not for long.

Maybe it did finally change hands.......

The funny thing is seeing a domain worth several million dollars listed to a yahoo email account. Wow

hmmm i guess thats it then, the domain has changed hands......

I wonder why say partypoker or fulltilt etc didnt buy the domain (maybe they did), would be a good domain for them to advertise themselfs on and an easy way to pick up a boatload of players a month.

Im sure the top poker rooms could afford $25 million

Im mean partygaming currently have a market cap for over $2.5 billion..... so $25 million would still be chump change (although im sure it would be more suited to a US accepting site)

Default which brand to promote ?

hi

been following this with interest - given that I roughly rank around the same for poker.com terms as I do for carbon poker terms which brand would you promote more now the poker.com site now it's in new hands ?

is it now time to only promote the carbon brand - from what I can gather the poker.com poker site brand isn't dissapearing but it's a bit weird promoting poker.com when it seems more accurately pokercs.com

what is everyone's plan / thoughts with the merge network ?

cheers scrawnybob

Seriously who knows with this whole fiasco? This seems like a huge mishap branding wise. We're on the inside of the industry, and don't even understand the situation...can you imagine what players must be thinking?
