Selling advertising space on your car!?

[AceHigh]

I have two friends that drive alot because of their work and are interested that if they could make off some money on the side by advertising some brand on their car. So has anyone done this before? If so are there any requirements on what kind of car you should be driving or how much you should be driving in order to get some good deals with well known brand..like poker rooms for example.
And the big question is that what kind of money could you make on this?...few bucks a month or could this actually pay the gas your driving with

They have Carwraps or something like that, (search google). You can get your car wrapped if you pass some requirements. For instance, I think you need a fairly decent car in good shape, drive in areas where a lot of people will see you, and the length of your daily commute. I think some pay you based on miles per week and what type of area you are in. Obviously if you drive around New York City it's much better for advertisers than a rural town in Nebraska.

I think it's pretty decent money too, like a couple hundred a month or so.

Try doing a search for 'taxi advertising', it's big business in the UK - there are loads of companies who specialise in this type of thing.

Companies will actually lease you a nice car if you agree to drive it a minimum of 5 miles per day. You don't get to keep the car, but you can drive it and get free maintenance on it just for having the ad on there.
