I have not seen any FREE templates that are both poker related and good.

Try an free non-poker template and redesign it a bit. If you have $15O or so these guys will blow your mind with how good they are at poker desing templates.

For all of you getting in this business with $5 in your pocket do yourself a favor and save $300 and then get started.

You will be amazed at how only $300 can get you off the ground.

No other business with thi potential could be started with only $300

Then get a desing for $150
a domain for $10
Get a years hosting for about $40
Spend $100 on good links to your site
Spend 10 hours a day designing your site, trading links, adding content.

Now before you know it you will be making money and have a valued website.

You will not make money in this industry without putting in something.

I started with $100 and i failed for months until I started investing money and then one day I was making more at affiliating than at my day job.

It just works that way. You will only get what you put into this.

After you have set up your website and it is running, where are you investing this money?

That is a great question most new affiliates want to know. The truth is every site and business is going to be different.

I re-invested mainly in advertising once the site is up and running. Nothing can beat good backlinks. They will pay for themselves 10 fold. Buy links at related sites with a PR of 4 or higher if you have the money. 3 or higher if they are of good value. Good backlinks are the core of your website for SEO.

Then spend some money on banner ads. I would usually only do a few banner ads and only if they could prove traffic and such.

Like I said. This is the only LEGIT business I know of that can reap so much earnings for as little as $300 or less.

After that start throwing back in the site with backlinks and such. Of course there are some other things to do but I'm nor sure posting other's secrests that I have got from other members would be fair.

Really though there is no secret formula for being a success. It's simple.

That's it

Ha, thanks for the info. I'm glad I arrived at this site early, Ive received alot of quality information despite some of it being a little hard to swallow. I'm looking to have alance design me a site when I get a little more money coming in and in the meantime i'm writing up articles and content for the current site.

This is the first Ive heard about purchasing back links. In most articles I have read about SEO the main jist of them on the terms of back linking was 'make a great site and people will link to you'.

Ive managed to get my site on a few sites but I'm postponing any further linking until I get a new design.

Where would you suggest a relatively new poker content site should go to purchase quality backlinks?

Just look in the exchange section hear at PAW.

You're right that a great site will get linked to but this will take some time
