i am guessing around 500k-1million pages... probably only 10% of those are in the index at google...
to keep things out of the supplemental with a dynamic site i have found that you need to :
1. use an url rewrite. while google sees the post variables at the end and is ok with them and sees them as a different page.. they also group them together anyway...
2. have different content/structure on each page(i fall victim to this , cause with this many pages its impossible to generate dynamically different pages on this many pages.)
like those other guys said ... interlinking of web pages in a contextual and relevant way.this one thing also helps your readers dig deeper into your site and stay on your site longer . cause hell if they started reading something and there is a link in the text to another page they are likely to read that if it flows together and is relevant.
