Thumbs down Issue With PokerAffiliate.com

I wont waste my time to go into detail only to hear some BS made-up story from their staff.

Advice to any newer affiliates, if you dont want the problems steer well clear of promoting pokerroom.com etc

Ok, if you are going to make statements like this, you will have to back it up with a story and some factual evidence.

We will not take sides, but I will say that PokerAffiliate.com has been very loyal to PAW. So if there is a problem, you need to say what it was, or I will have to just delete this thread.

Hope you understand

I also changed the topic of your post. Please PM me if you would like for me to help you resolve whatever issue you are having. I would be more than happy to get in contact with PokerAffiliate.com on your behalf. Both Carly and Gustav have always been easy to work with.

i had my money transferred to my pokerroom account which was in my moms name because i had played on pokerroom before and deposited..

so i get my $200 some odd dollars of affiliate earning through referrals, and i had it put into my account.

i played for a bit with the money, then when i went to cashout around $300, i wanted to change the name on the account to my own.

so i called in pokerroom, they said they couldnt change the name, and because I was using the account, they would block it, and thus stealing $300 of my money.

i dont understand how they can do this to me... and help would be much appreciated, as i have also stopped advertising my pokerroom links due to this...

Hi,

It depends on when the account was opened at PokerRoom.com and when you started to become an affiliate. According to our Terms and Conditions:

"Player(s)" means a person who has opened a Player Account at the Website(s) via a Tracker and/or Promo Code assigned to the Affiliate, excluding, without limitation, a person being a family member of the Affiliate or within the household of the Affiliate.

If this was the case then our Payments Team can block the account. If the problem here was just changing the name on the PokerRoom.com player account, then this is something that you will have to contact Support to help you with.

If you let me know the nickname of the account or the affiliate id I can look into this further for you.

Best,
Carly
