From Scratch

First of all I wanted to say hello to everyone, and I'm glad to be part of the site. I am new to the poker affiliate business and want to start off in the right direction. I have a domain name and would like to create an affiliate site but dont want to start from scratch without guidance. I like to experiment and have plenty of time. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Very short advice would be to read through these forums and use the search function to research various topics. To be successful in this industry from scratch at this point you will need to dedicate countless hours and probably invest some money.

The best thing t do would be to emulate, (not copy) what other successful poker affiliates have done.

Think of an idea or concept that you know a lot about in regards to poker. Try to find a niche that no one has exploited before, or try to do what others do...better.

Then, start writing and organizing your thoughts. Continue to write orginal and useful copy that you think reader's would be interested in.

Start networking with as many poker affiliates as you can.

Learn as much as you can about the many areas of online marketing.

If you do each of these daily and stay with it on a continual basis, you will have success. It will take some time, so please have patience.
