Feedback wanted for 72os.com

2005 saw us do a major overhaul to our site design, forum, and the addition of many new features to the or site. I'd love your imput on the over all look of the site, any features that may be missing, and if you would have any suggestions to maximizing our ad space. Thanks in advance for any time and imput.

Josh

I like your site, it looks pretty good. Just one thing I am going to mention to you since that I see you are using Mambo to create your site. I also use mambo and can do very little on it, but i am managing to get by. One thing I suggest is that you download the thing that makes your URL's more Search Engine Friendly. Right now your URLs look like http://www.72os.com/poker/loudmouth/Itemid,67/ ... http://www.72os.com/poker/content/category/1/1/65/ ... etc. which is how mambo works. Dont ask me how I made mine S.E.F. because I got someone else to do it for me. But that is the first thing I would suggest to you that you need to get these to look like http://www.72os.com/poker-news ... etc. This will greatly help you in the search engines. I just suggest that you clean up your URL's.

We have it set up now for the syders to search them with /poker/news/blahblah.htm when they search the articles it just doesn't display that way when you are on the site clicking through. Some of the add ons to convert these links do well if you are just starting out, but we had a pretty large site when we tried converting them over. We're having to code a program to do that and should have converted over by the end of the month.

Thanks for the feedback

You have an all around great site. A+ for a new site. How long has it been up?

Very nice site! Obviously this is not a brand new site.

How many people are working on this site out of interest? Also, I thought Id seen mostly all big (or mostly all sites) through searching search engines for poker and related terms. I definately don't remember seeing this one. SEO may be the way to go.

72os has been online since Aug. of 2004. And has involved from a personal site tracking my journey in poker to what it is today. 2 of us run the day to day of the site and there are also 3 other members the help out with the forum and running our freeroll league.

SEO is really want we are focusing in on now.
